If you are a beginner, classic is always better because you can so the assessment in 2 phases which would give you more time to be relaxed and confident.

For beginners, I’d rather go with classic challenges. I think it's quite hard to complete a speedy challenge with 6% max loss, while in classic this number is doubled to 12%. Also, you pay more, though obviously, despite the fact that you need to pass two stages, classic looks way more attractive.
Still, with good risk-management and working strategy, you can try speed too. At the end of the day, everything depends on personality. Someone just can’t wait to get a funded account and take the risk toward this goal.
