I wanted to learn Chinese online because of my working hours, online seemed to be the best option for me.

However I would like to WARN all people here of the nightmares I have suffered from this company!

If you want to spend your hours stuck with IT technical help and learning very little, then please feel free to sign up!

I had recently booked a two hour class, I spent almost 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone to technical services who took control of my computer WITHOUT permission while I was away.

They apologized but I still feel it was a breach of my privacy.
Out of the classes I had, I would say only 3 were successful.

All others were failures.

I had nothing but sound problems, Java application issues and relentless pop ups interfering with the class.

A TOTAL JOKE and WASTE OF MONEY

Great platform, great teachers and content! Have tried it for both kids and adults and am happy with the results - they are flexible in accomodating various levels of proficiency. We enjoy our sessions on tutorming very much!

I've been learning Chinese at TutorABC Chinese for over five years. Not only learn more about the Chinese language but Chinese cultures and foods as well. This online course is helpful for everyone! You should definitely try their trial session first and you will be amazed!

Tutorming is a wonderful place to learn Chinese. With the variety of teachers, everyone can find their fit and the material helps to absorb the needed vocabulary very quickly. I have taken more than a hundred of their classes and have been left very impressed by the quality of teaching and customer service.

Signing up with Tutorming at the beginning of my Mandarin learning journey was easily the best educational investment I've made in years. I first started with their Value 30 plan due to a short term commitment and a lucrative Black Friday deal. Inevitably, I got hooked up and ended up with signing up for a 6-months Starter Package which is about to expire and I'm definitely extending it. By having 4 classes per week within 6 months and with a fair amount of perseverance, I think I'm now quite comfortable having a chat in Chinese in a variety of subjects, like everyday life, travel, sports, and work.

Pros:
1. Highly professional and very amicable native Mandarin-speaking teachers. Not a single time did I not enjoy my class. All of them are highly supportive and encouraging, always adjust their speaking speed and vocabulary as you increase your Mandarin level. They provide you immediate feedback during the class to correct your pronunciation or grammar mistakes, which lets you improve class by class
2. The platform itself is just superb. In the beginning, I was apprehensive of having the classes online as it was my first experience of this sort ever. But this approach turned out to be just so good. The reason is that you have every class material saved after the class along with the comments typed on the slides by the consultant, which is a great way to add to your vocabulary and grammar. On top of that, you have access to the video recording of the class, so you can watch it later and review the class anytime you fancy.
3. The materials are fun, using a fair amount of repetition to make sure that whatever you learn sticks. They gradually increase in complexity following your progress in the language. What I particularly enjoy is the variety of topics, so you learn a very broad range of vocabulary on various subjects.
4. You can schedule classes 24/7, so there's never a chance that you can say to yourself "Today I don't have time for that"
5. Extension bonuses and perks. You are likely to get more classes than you've signed up and paid for.
6. Last but not least, is their customer support (customer protection as they call it). They are fast to respond and efficient.

Cons:
1. You can't choose the consultant for the class, so you may turn up having different teachers for your classes. At first, I was not very comfortable with that, but then as I got to know all the consultants (I think I've had classes with around 10 of them), I've got very comfortable and now I think it's actually good to have classes with different teachers as it gives you a chance to get exposed to various pronunciations, which is good for your Chinese. That being said, I eventually ended up having around 60% of the classes with the same consultant.
2. The classes are on the pricier side. But if you make use of their one-time payoff proposal, it may end up a little cheaper per class. Go for it if you can afford it, it's definitely value for money given the quality of the classes and all the materials you've got after

Although I'm still a new customer, the couple lessons that I've taken with Tutorming has been so fun and educational! I've taken a few years of Cantonese lessons when I was little and they were always really boring lectures. However, Tutorming's approach to teaching is so fun and interactive. They teach you by having a conversation with you will typing out the vocabulary on the screen so that you can go back later on and review the slides. I would highly recommend!

I have just had my first ever Chinese class with TutorMing. My teacher Coco was amazing, she was very supportive and encouraging which gave me the confidence I needed during the class, I have already booked my next two classes for next week! I would highly recommend this company, as it is convenient you can take a class anywhere and at any time. There are also a couple of useful apps which you can practice phrases, which is great.

I love learning Chinese with TutorMing - all of the tutors are patient, friendly and can speak English as well as being native speakers of Chinese - so they can really guide the student's learning experience. The app also includes handy phrases and the facility to save vocabularies and review lessons is a huge bonus. This style of language learning is the future, I am so happy to learn Chinese with TutorMing!

Currently 30 lessons in and really enjoying it. A good pace to match your ability and always new content and concepts to push you forwards. Technically its great and the playback of videos is a super nice feature. Occasionally tutors don't have a perfect internet connection, but its been a very rare problem and nothing that stops the session. I will almost certainly do more sessions with them after I have completed my current set.

TutorMing is one of the best websites for language learning. Their customer services are best in class. You will feel great once you get their services.

I am currently using tutorabc formerly known as tutorming. When I first started with tutorming (2020), they were extremely helpful and answered emails quickly- with helpful and sincere replies. Nowadays, I email them 2-3 times with an issue and am likely to never hear back from them. A few of my emails have been requests for specific teachers, password reset help, along with other questions, comments, or concern. Before, tutorming would reply to an email within 48 hours. As of now I am frustrated and irritated with tutorabc and am not sure if I will be back after I use up all my allotted sessions.

It is a good place to learn Mandrian. Their teachers are pretty good.
Got various courses for different needs.

My daughter and I have both been taking lessons with Tutor Ming for a few months now and we love it! The experience has been an enjoyable journey so far. The teachers are great, and the supplemental materials are also fantastic.
Now we share Chinese music we find, we use some phrases around the house, and talk about Chinese food. I always download the lesson notes left by the teachers and review them. I'm finally breaking through the barrier of an early learner and understanding more, IT'S SO EXCITING! I suggest using their apps as well to enhance your experience.My Chinese lessons are one of the best parts of my week!

Ive been learning Mandarin for about 5 years and needed to step up my level, particularly conversational. Ive tried a few other sites quite thoroughly but the delivery was a let down. Often the day to day delivery didnt match trial lesson expectstions. By comparison, Tutorming have drlivered more than promised, their flexible scheduling really works for me, and the teachers have been consistently great.

Tutorming has been an enjoyable experience for me so far. Teachers are friendly and helpful and I can learn at my own pace.

I would recommend TutorMing to anyone who wants to learn Chinese from a very basic level all the way to perfecting it on more advanced levels. I could not pronounce one word in Chinese before I began at TutorMing, however I am now much more confident in speaking and understanding. It is most certainly a process however the teachers at TutorMing are very patient and excellent.

You will never regret it!

Tutor Ming has been a fantastic experience for me so far. I'm a 41-year-old American, studying Mandarin for the first time. After almost one year, I've made great strides in my speaking and listening! As a college professor, I can honestly say that the Tutor Ming teachers are truly excellent.
