Do I just press the TryspreeIt button to be registered for the sample? Is the sample guaranteed or does it get shipped to a few people?

No not usually. Some sites require you to buy a product in order to get a sample though.

On the sites tryspree linked me to, I manually entered my mailing info after using tryspree to direct me to the sample site. I started recieving samples within the first week doing it manually.
