Hi Susan,

Thank you for getting in touch. The best way to contact us is on support@trustedhousesitters.com or via the live chat tool on our website.

Our entire community is built on the ethos and value, that the best sitters sit for free, and no sitter within our community is allowed to charge for their time, as this is not the service we offer.

House sitters offer their help free, as house sitting is such a wonderful experience. Our members are animal lovers who enjoy giving their time to help owners take a break, in exchange for free accommodation in some fantastic locations, they would never normally get the chance to experience. It is a win win altruistic arrangement, in this regard.

Some offer their help as a way of visiting a new area as a local, rather than a tourist. Others may be visiting family but don't want to stay with them. Some sitters are writers or artists looking for new places for inspiration. There are so many reasons house sitters help free of charge.

We approve all listings that go onto the site, and anything that describes or requires excessive work type responsibilities, labour, or has any third party on site, including B&B or AIRBNB guests, will not be approved, as our community is not a place for people to find free labour.

Let me know if you need any more information

Thank you
The TrustedHousesitters Team

I believe there's no need because each opportunity comes with a lengthy description. It's up to the homeowner to make sure that House Sitting knows everything there is to know. It's up to the housesitter to ask questions

This website/service is not for exchanging money, that's the whole idea of it! If you want to pay someone money to care for your home/farm/pets, use a different website. You might be able to find someone at care.com!?

Because that's not the service that Trusted housesitters provides. Look at websites like workaway.com
