The ombudsman is OS communication. You do have to lodge a complaint and you need to email using the word complaint then os should be able to help you the number is 03304401614, every telecommunication company has they own ombudsman.

Having been deceived by this company who took over my BT line after i cancelled the order 10 days into the 14 day cancellation period they still proceeded with the disconnection. Looked up using the ombudsman but that was useless, you had to ask True Telecom to submit it to their own complaints system, which they ignored. They should not be allowed to trade.

You have to use the company's compaints procedure first then if you can reach an agreement then you have the right to seek out the ombudsman they draw this out so much most customers give up

More questions about True Telecom

My parents have sold their house and currrently don't have a new permenant address in the UK to move to. They have tried to cancel the True-Telecom contract but have found that they are being charged over £1000 to do so. The original TT salesperson guaranteed that they would save money on their BT bill when they were signed up (which was total rubbish its costing a fortune) AND he wanted to know if they had ever been in business, yes they had (but 30 years before), which didn't seem to matter as they recommended the account was put in that name? Does this sound familiar with anyone else? And has anyone any advice as we are on the phone to OfCom first thing in the morning. Thanks I want to cancel my contract which was with True telecom but they were bought out by Chess telecom however they are stating I am tied into a 3 year contract which I don't remember going into and it will cost me over a £1000 to get out of. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get out of this contract Tru telecom keep phoning me saying they are changing me over to them from BT because they are cheaper and asking for my bank details. I have said no over and over again but they continue to pester. What can I do? Help, yes was scammed back in June. When the contract was sent it was not what the sales guy had said, so totally incorrect. We spoke to TTand was told the correct contract would be sent out. It never arrived. I emailed to say that unless we got the correct contract we were cancelling. Spoke to another Telecom chap and said we wanted nothing more to do with them, finito. In the meantime we were told from BT that they were 'sorry they were losing us' . We immediately corrected them, went back straight away to BT, and cancelled direct debit to T T. We are now being bombarded with exit fees from TT. The last one was £495.14, and they keep increasing. What can we do? We have no intention of paying. Last week I signed up to go with true telecom. I have now read all the reviews and want to get out. They say I have a 14 days cool off period but I can't get through to anyone to cancel. Can anyone help me with how to get out? How do I contact the Ombudsman? lve been contact by true telecom to change from bt am l doing the right thing How do I remove a review that gives away personal staff information? how long is a normal business contract for with true telecom My last invoice with True Telecom came up to £348:00 - £129:00 Disconnection fee and £199:00 early termination fee plus £20:00 for temporary out of service. I am appalled at these costs as when I was cold called from the said salesman, under no time when negotiating was this mentioned. The paperwork given was so poorly photocopied as he claimed his laptop was stolen that week/day that I could not read it. Therefore I am claiming I have had no evidence of this 'cooling down period' which was 14 days now its 12 months and 14 days. I've had numerous discussions over the last 3 months with customer services and no-one is taking responsibility for this. I have since raised a complaint but also want to dispute this invoice. Have you a resolution scheme? as I believe there is a breakdown in communication.
