I would like to say, thank you to TreeHugger, for letting me cancel my order due to financial issues and then for sending me a bracelet for free, because I really believe in their cause. Emily is a lovely lady who was prompt in answering my questions and very understanding. I will use them again in the future, Frances
Has anyone else received this notice from treehuggers. Still waiting for my refund weeks later. Poor business practices "We're very sorry for the trouble this has caused you. As of the moment, we do not have phone support and we can only assist through email and chat. We are currently having a system glitch in processing refunds but we are now working to fix it. We will make another follow up with our manager and keep you posted as soon as we have further updates".
I went to the website and i sent an email to their team asking if they had a tree that i could hug and they said no.

Ordered one bracelet beginning of February, had to chase the company reference dispatch date. April 2nd dispatched no bracelet, was supposed to be a present for a friend who loves Australia. Do your research on the internet before buying anything from this company. If you live in the UK there is a huge chance you will be charged import tax as packet is marked up clothing. Loads of unhappy customers on their Facebook Site.
Total scam. Ordered bracket 3 months ago as was touched by the borrow the Australian people and animal kingdom faced. Never felt so stupid. Bracket has never arrived and I can't even get logged into the website to check delivery. Clearly a scam. Feel very annoyed at myself for being sucked in. Never again.
Don't make the mistake I made! Do not order from this website.
Do not believe anything Treehuggers say on their website or social media. It's a scam. They do not deliver in time, they do not respond to mails unless you send them something. Always nice words of apologies, but no actions. Wish I had never come across them. They should be ashamed, using contributing to a better world their theme, and at the same time exploiting their customers!
Ordered bracelet Feb 14th 2020. It is now April 9th and keep getting excuses why product has not been shipped. Website states due to popular demand shipping may take up to 21 days and when i have asked several times about the status, their response is... item "will be shipped this week or next". I thought the purchase was helping the Koala in Australia but now i think it is all a scam.
Quick to take your money but after over two months, still no bracelet. Reading other reviews I may have to pay extra if/when it arrives
AVOID!!!
I ordered at the beginning of March, it is now the middle of June and have finally received the two bracelets I ordered. But I did have to pay £14.70 customs duty first. I'm utterly disgusted about everything to do with this company and I feel like I've been conned. How do we even know that trees are getting planted? I bought as presents but there wasn't any printed material with them to explain about the koala habitat or what the bracelets were made from so I've just kept them for myself. I like many others feel stupid to have been scammed.
Like many others I thought these bracelets came from Australia and that I was supporting the terrible fires they were having there. I obviously didn't give enough attention to their propaganda. Treehuggers I thought was more of a charity and not lining the pockets of Americans. Lesson learnt.
Founded by Graham Hill who sold it for $10 million to Discovery communications. In 2012 acquired by Mother Nature network founded by Joel Babbit and Chuck Leavell. Now know as Narrative Content Group.
TREEHUGGERS is not a charity it is American Capitalists.
Be warned! Give your money to someone who will do something good with it.
Tip for consumers:
DON’t USE THIS SITE. GIVE YOUR MONEY TO AN ORGANISATION THAT NEEDS IT INSTEAD OF LINING THE POCKETS OF THOES WHO DON’t NEED IT.

I ordered in January 2020, long before anything COVID... now it is the end of April 2020 and still have not received product, furthermore, the company stopped communications with me all together, not even empty promises anymore. BEWARE... this company is FRAUDULENT!
Like so many others, I ordered a couple of their bracelets following the awful fires at the start of the year in Australia and I was drawn to their advertising about saving the koalas. My first surprise was learning that the company are actually based in the USA. I waited and waited - nearly 4.5 months to be exact - and finally received a card from Royal Mail saying that I had to pay duty of more than what the actual bracelets cost in the first place! I haven't bothered to pay or collect.
Ordered 2 bracelets in January in good faith to support the bush fires. In April I chased them as supposedly dispatched, the tracking info from their courier didn't work. They claimed the bracelets could not be delivered due to missing house number on a security auto-fill address. Not resent and here I am in July being requested for a review.
Here it is: The bracelets are dropshipped from China and the cost is pennies. The tree-planting partner has apparently disassociated themselves from the company and took £1 approx to plant each tree. Do the sums.
After waiting months for my bracelet order, I finally get a letter from my post office saying that they cannot deliver them as there is a customs charge on them of more than what the bracelets cost. It's one big con so DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY
Quick to take your money but after almost 2 months no bracelets and just some gibberish that it is in transit. Now they have cut me off completely and I cannot get in touch with customer service.
I have similar story, now 25th June, have emailed them continuously since I ordered bracelets latter end of JANUARY! Finally insisted on a refund, after every excuse under the sun (big demand, covid-19, delays in shipping from China (even got details of it stuck in some warehouse in China!), finally they said they would refund me, that was about 3 weeks ago, then even sent me email confirming the refund was processed, now making excuses about computer glitch, and they are very sorry, very sorry, very sorry for my trouble. Absolute scammers, and I realised too late I had been sucked in like many other people trying to help the Australian habitat after their dreadful fires. I'm still chasing and will continue to do so daily. Don't touch them, they are an absolute disgrace
Having purchased a bracelet from Tree Huggers to help the Koala Bears... I'm very Disappointed that after waiting 3 months for the bracelet to arrive I'm then hit with a further charge of £11.40 which I have to pay UK post office to release my delivery.
After contacting Tree hugger they said they are not responsible for this charge and it does state this in the small print!
If this is highlighted at the payment page I would not have ordered ( I wish I'd just made a donation now to a true charity)
Very Disappointed.
I received a product with frayed seams. After reaching out to customer service they said the product was fine and wouldn't offer more than a coupon for $10 off my next order. Very disappointed with the product and customer service. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
WhAT A SCAM ordered in May still have`nt received anything they keep sending me tracking information and it doesn`t go anywhere. Do not order from this company they just take your money.
Like other reviews I paid for a bracelet as a birthday gift at the end of Jan 2020. NOT ARRIVED... however received a note for Royal Mail asking me to pay customs charge... WHAT A CON... after weeks of asking for these items (friend birthday came and went!) I now have top pay extra... I'm not bothering they can have them back. RUBBISH SERVICE AND A COMPLETE CON! DO NOT BOTHER! Make a charity donation instead.
I ordered my bracelet the end January of this year and with each email inquiry they said they are processing it and the bracelet would be mailed out the following week. Then they said for my inconvenience, they would refund 20% of the bracelet purchase. When the refund never came they said, "from our end it shows the refund was deposited back into your account, will look into it and get back to you". Never happened. Now, they don't respond to any of my weekly inquiries. This is now going on 3 months, as it's already April. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.
I ordered a bracelet in feb. In may they indicated it was on its way. DHL notified that the package was in transit. Then it dissapeared from system. I reqeusted my money back in June. They indicated it was authorized, still no money. Suddenly my emails does not go through. Think they changed their email address. Fake business.
Like everyone else, I paid for three bracelets in good faith, three months later, no bracelets other than a card from the Post Office yesterday telling me I need to pay £17.50. I would avoid this supposedly 'caring company' at all costs!
I ordered two bracelets on January 26th, they kept telling me it's going to take more time and more time because they don't have the supplies. The second week of March I ask for a refund and instead they send me a certificate of appreciation for buying nothing. Then I ask for a refund again, the sent me a very obscure email saying the refunded me it would take 5-10 business days and now 15 business days later no response from them and no refund. Do not purchase from them
These people are playing on our wish to help the displaced koalas due to bush fires. They are not a charity and have nothing to do with Australia! I ordered two bracelets early February and after 3 months of being told they would be dispatched "this week or next week", I received a notice from Royal Mail to say there was a package awaiting collection with an outstanding customs fee of £15.00 to pay. I reluctantly paid and collected the bracelets. Wish I hadn't bothered! Wooden beads threaded on plastic, with a few thin metal links in between, certainly not worth the final cost. Shame on you Treehuggers!
I bought a bracelet and absolutely love it! I also love that a tree is planted for each purchase!
