Does the writer retain all the rights to their work when entered in one of the site's competitions?

Absolutely. I assume everyone knows to register their script at the rider skills. So you are protected. Whether or not you are a member of the guild yet you will be protected by the guilt if anyone should steal your work. I love the Writers Guild.
