In spite of all the negative reviews I have made several purchases from Sports Direct Online. The prices were excellent. The items were rare and impossible to locate anywhere else at a price anything short of extortion. Yes, the shipping is expensive but more than made up for by the bargain prices. Don't blame Sports Direct for high shipping prices - that's just how it is. Every order I received exactly what I had ordered. Excellent tracking and very quick international shipping. I would not hesitate to purchase from Sports Direct again. Thank-you for reading this review. Cheers.

Will never be using this company again! Ordered 2 pairs of joggers, received only one. Raised a query straight on arrival, was asked for pictures of parcel and missing item?!. Provided pictures! Was told that the item has been registered by the scan machine at the packing facility and definitely sent to me?! Is it another Horizon malfunction?:-(. And, in the end, was basically called a liar for £15 joggers! Wow! Sports Direct! What an experience! Never again!

We were sent a faulty Wilson Fibre basketball - the valve fell into the ball when inflation was attempted. The website says contact Customer Services - there is no such thing! And now time has run out and we cannot return it at all. I will never again buy from SportsDirect - a very poor and dishonest company.

I am utterly disappointed with Sports Center's customer service and their handling of my recent purchase issue. Despite the courier's claim of a compliant delivery, I never received the €40 item. After a thorough investigation, Sports Center dismissed my claim without consideration, leaving me without the product I paid for and causing both inconvenience and financial loss. Their refusal to address the possibility of a delivery error or any other issues is disheartening. This experience reflects a complete lack of accountability and customer care. Beware of their dismissive approach and think twice before making a purchase on their website.

Ordered soccer Jersey from SportsDirect in early December for a Christmas present and gave the correct address. It didn't arrive before Christmas but I accepted this on the basis that it was a busy time. However it didn't arrive after Christmas either. When I enquired I was told to fill in a non-received document and a full refund would be arranged. However this refund never happened and my subsequent emails were ignored and unanswered. So basically no jersey and no refund...lousy!

TERRIBLE! Do not use!
Placed an order before Christmas for 3 items, the package was delivered to the wrong house, and just left on their doorstep, luckily the person bought it round for me, I opened the package and there was only two of the items in there but said there should be all three. Straight away I emailed customer services to let them know there was an item missing, i received an email saying they had investigated and the delivery was non-compliant and would I like the item refunded or re delivered straight away, I replied that I would like it re delivered as it was a Christmas present for my son and it was already the 21st December.
After a few days had still not received so I asked for a refund instead as I needed to buy from elsewhere on Christmas Eve, they replied and denied all knowledge of ever agreeing to re-send/refund and said they would have to investigate… this has been ongoing ever since, they are now refusing to refund, saying it was a compliant delivery! I don't know how delivering a package to the wrong house, leaving it on a doorstep without a signature is a compliant delivery. I also sent them a picture of the package showing it was far too small to even fit the missing item in in the first place. I will never use this company again and will be stopping as many other people as possible too. My son had to go without the tech fleece that he really wanted for Christmas as I could not afford to buy another one as these are quite expensive. The photos are of my front door and the wrong house it was delivered to, which also shows the size of the package, which was supposed to have an extra large tech fleece in.

False Advertising, Stay Away. My partner bought me trainers online twice that I liked the look of based on the website pictures. I was sent trainers which were similar but a different design, logo shape and colour disappointedly i sent them back and was unable to purchase the ones I wanted. Then stupidly a couple of years later I bought work boots and exactly the same issue, product sent totally different to online pictures. No coincidence in my opinion. I think they advertise good looking product at a decent price in order to sell less attractive inferior product and hope that many people just accept the inferior product. They are quick enough to take your money then when you have a problem its impossible to have a conversation with customer service about it and the shops are not interested with dealing with your online purchase issues. Never Ever Again... Total Shambles

The first and last time purchasing online from Sports Direct resulted in only a partial refund - £40 out of £120.
Dealing with the customer service is a nightmare - via emails only - they claim they only received 4 items and did not provide any proof or a solution. I am still £80 short and there is no one to talk to. An absolute nightmare.

Disgraceful rip off company, they delivered my items to the wrong address as a photo taken by their useless
Delivery company EVRI clearly shows but between them even with the photo of someone else's doorstep they insist they have delivered it to the correct address and want me to claim against my credit card company which I think would be Fraud and I am not doing it, don't ever buy from them or you will probably regret it.

Purchase a pair of joggers (£65) as a gift, but needed the next size up. Tried 4 stores and online for a replacement/exchange but these are not available. Tried to get a refund as being unable to exchange to purchase elsewhere (all within return timescales) however, the store advises that only customer services can deal with a refund, they can only offer exchange (despite being unable to do so) and customer services advise that they are a Seperate entity (both owned by Frasers and trading under the same name) and cannot deal with any store purchased products. Complete waste of time, everyone just fobs you off - my advice is buy elsewhere as if anything goes wrong you cannot get anyone to try to resolve the issue. Definitely not the No 1 Sports Retailer!

Ordered some items I needed quickly on 28/12 and paid high next day delivery charge for it to come at the latest on the 29/12, still nothing by 3/1 so I Web chatted and was assured an investigation would be opened with a response in 1 to 3 days, didn't hear anything by the 7th so Web chat again, as they don't seem to have a telephone number, to be told they didn't know where my package was but they were in contact with evei and I would be updated soon, 16th Jan still nothing so off u go to webcam again to be told an investigation would be opened and I should have a response within 1 to 3 days, this is nearly 3 weeks after ordering the items for next day delivery, I get told once the parcel leaves the warehouse there was nothing they could do and my issue is with evri, when I explained that I ordered the items from and paid the money to sports direct meaning my contract of sale is with sports direct I got bombarded with a load of generic responses, I then asked for a manager and got told they don't have one, some abuse hurled at me and then the chat ended, totally disgusting and unacceptable

Sprots Direct sells cheap and great products however customer serves is dreadful! However it does sell good stuff so around 6/10!

Avoid at all costs! Paid extra for next day delivery. Took over a week to deliver. Once delivered found item was wrong! Contacted CS on Twitter. Waste of time as they keep saying I had not sent DM when I had screenshot proof I did. Managed to find CS email and send complaint. Took days to reply for them to say they believe they had sent the correct item. Replied with proof of order confirmation and photos of item received vs order confirmation photos. They are not replying to my request for a refund. Stores will not accept returns/refunds from online purchase. Next stop is trading standards under Trade description act. I will never use this company ever again as they lie through their teeth.

I ordred two items off sports direct never recieved a confirmation email I contacted there customer service via email was told they would reply to me within 3 working days it has been seven working days and still nothing. Absolutely terrible service

Payed for next day delivery which turned into 3-5 working days so didn't need to spend £9.99! Contacted customer services three times and still waiting a response or acknowledgement.
Items arrived (eventually) but not at the time scale that I payed for- if they can't deliver on a service they offer they should refund customers on delivery costs and not offer those services!
Very disappointed!
After reading all the comments from everyone else I won't be coming back here. Lesson learned.

Asked for a pair of trainers for my son to try on, 25 mins later the guy hadn't come back so asked where he was... Finished for the day. Great. We left and won't be back!

Having purchased items online and having an item missing I contacted customer service for resolution, they have advised on two occasions the item was sent, although they provide absolutely no proof, they are refusing to take accountability for their mistake, so I have been spoken to cheekily, made out to be liar and now I'm left out of pocket for an item I have never received and now I'm having to pursue through trading standards. This is an absolutely shocking company to deal with having been a loyal customer for years I can confidently say I will never shop with this company again, don't make the same mistake I did, spend you cash with a decent company.

They lost my parcel that was supposed to be delivered into their store. I've been asked a total of 17 times via email if I'd like a redelivery or a refund and I've asked for a refund but so far not received it and if I ask why they start the whole enquiry off again…… their customer service is rubbish and I want my money back….it's theft as they haven't done what they said they do

I usually do online shopping from different brands.
So I tried sports direct for the 1st time, and I was surprised by their online charging and return policy, it made me very upset.
It's was a shock that among so many brands who are doing so good with their online orders and return policies, how this brand has survived till this day.

1. Whether you order at home or at store, the charges are same,5 pounds, who will be fool to order it at store and not home if same charges?
2. So I got fooled and I ordered at store, because with store delivery the option of 5 pound voucher was coming, so I thought yes I ll save 5 pounds.
3. However, in this option they didn't say 5 pounds voucher if u spend 100 pounds. So this 2nd piece of info wasn't in that option.
4. So, they hide this information from you on final click at selection home vs store option. Or else who will not opt for comfort of home if store delivery also charges same.
5. When you go to store to return, they refuse, saying return yourself.
6. If you then return yourself you ll pay 5 pounds again.

It was important to write this review, to help others not to go through this painful experience and never do online shopping from sports direct. Yes, may be you can do store shopping

The delivery was on time and product was good. Customer service was not great but altogether we were pretty happy with the order. Would use the service again if the price is right.

The store sent a completely cut jacket. The bag from the jacket was completely intact. Unfortunately, I checked the jacket only a month after the order :( The store refused to accept a return or compensate for the cost of the jacket, arguing that more than 28 days had passed. Photos that the jacket is completely new, with tags, but cut with a knife - did not help.
Completely disappointed with the shopping experience at sportdirect.
Buying goods on sale doesn't mean buying junk.

Won't buy there again! Never!

Dreadful company. I never recieved my delivery. The courier's proof of deliver picture was of a different parcel delivered to someone elses house. It should have been an easy and quick situation to sort out as it was obvious it hadn't been delivered.

However, they make it such hard work to get a refund I gave up. They can keep the money but I'll never use them again.

I purchased a pair of Karrimor waterproof hiking boots about six months ago (did not keep receipt) and just walking through wet grass my feet get soaked. I should have known better now that the original Karrimor, who made first class walking gear, have been taken over by SportsDirect; they always cheapen good names

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT SHOP FROM THEM. They deserve -5 stars. Arrogant, ineffective and completely out of their depth. Cannot handle a basic order, miscommunicate and now still no refund after 4 weeks. Contacting my credit card provider. Customer Service a joke!

Terrible, they have phone numbers to contact them that do not exist. Once I get my refund I will not be shopping there again. You cannot ring anyone there, they are totally useless when it comes to customer service. Avoid at all costs

That it’s disgusting to have to go online to talk to these people then they want to charge you £1 I’m not bothered about the £1 I just don’t want to give them my bank details as I go through PayPal to pay anything
