It's 3 days before Christmas, and I would just like to note that the staff at my local Spencer's was super helpful and nice to me during my very crowded shopping experience. They we're super patient with me while I was trying to pick my jewelry options and made sure I received the buy two, get to discount. Grateful for them I wish all stores were this good but no doubt, they were very professional and accommodating.

I ordered a Christmas sweater from Spencer gifts on Oct 15th, said item was in stock, would ship within 24 hours. I Paid for fast ship to get in 2-3 days. 12 days later says it still has not even shipped. If you call, the wait time says 2.5 to 3.5 hours wait time, if you leave your # they never call back. I'm trying to cancel to get $ back, but thats next to impossible. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Do not believe the reviews here about good customer service. It's exhausting to have to continue following up with Spencer's to have them remedy a mistake on their end. I've had to call the Guest Services line multiple times to first find out that an item I ordered online was cancelled. The tracking information originally sent to me was incorrectly labeled USPS when it was actually Roadie… when I checked Roadie and called back the Spencer's rep indicated my order was cancelled. Now they can't even correctly refund me the full cost of the item. They've sent two refunds both of which do not total what I paid and I've had to follow up again. Don't waste your time and shop elsewhere. And good luck if you have to "privately call their Guests Services line" as they've responded to some reviews here. I still have not received a full refund for this item that will never arrive. Only putting a star here because 0 stars is not an option. Thieves.

Literally, every other online retailer is exponentially faster. I've ordered hand made jewelry to my exact specifications with fine engraving and it was shipped out faster than this joke of a company. You can never find the size you require in the store and ordering it simply amounts to them taking your money. Order from Amazon, EBay, Stay, Mercari so as to avoid the inevitable headache.

Knowing they place no value on customer satisfaction.

I've not used any because the horrid little merchant has yet to even ship my purchase.

Shipping almost got messed up at first but it still arrived within 4 days of ordering instead of 2 days so I can't complain. I used basic shipping. It seemed like the shipping and taxes tacked a lot onto the item but, if I remember correctly, last time I bought the white one in the store and I ended up paying less per item online (even with shipping and taxes included) as the online order comes with two instead of one. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my order and I'll be back to buy another after these wear out.

Tip for consumers:
I usually seal each rivet with a little bit of nail polish to prevent rusting on all my spiked bracelets (just the metal on the underside where they come in contact with your skin). This is not necessary for the backing of the buttons, only the spikes.

They'll charge you for orders after getting this error. No confirmation email sent and I even made an order through my account. The order does not show up to my account at all either despite being a member. Had to file a chargeback with my credit card for fraud. Don't use this company.

Today at the Lakeline Mall, I walked into Spencer's immediately I had two workers giving me nasty looks. I asked the an African-American older woman. If there is any fleshlights, she starts to yell at me, causing a big scene in the back of the store. I hope this woman found and disciplined.

I order a snoopy xmas sweater size M, which cost 44.99+19.74 for faster shipping. Took 6 days, to top it off I receive a shirt XLshirt of some guy Juice Wrid. I am very dissapointed. This was my 1st time ordering and it will be my last.

Tip for consumers:
I do not recommend this if you are set on something and then be disappointed.

Nothing, will return, in store. Because if I return by mail, I will be charge for shipping.

Me and my 19 year old daughter were shopping there yesterday and we saw the most inappropriate stuff ever really a boob cup and shirts with cuss words what the hell is wrong with this store never shopping here again if I could give this store a zero I would it's horrible.

I placed an order 5 days ago, and my package still has not been shipped from the "warehouse". I looked into getting a refund, since I ordered my package as a Christmas gift, and it most likely won't be on time; however I was told I was not allowed to cancel my order, nor get a refund. I'm frustrated and I just want my package or a refund.

2 weeks after my order I'd heard nothing. Phone # was not accepting calls, "live" chat was not accepting messages, email went unanswered. Finally I messaged via Facebook & someone replied very promptly. Said they were having some system overhaul or something. When I told them I needed the item for my son's bday party, they very kindly offered to expedite shipping, and the item arrived on exactly the day I told them I needed it by. And it was awesome.

Had I known that this company was going to keep my money and not give me the item I ordered I would have not shopped here. In September I order three items from the store online. One item was shipped, one canceled and the other was a store pick up. I admit I didn't pick the item up right way. I went to the store, the day before it was going back on the shelf. I was told that it had already been reshelved. Disappointment I left the store and went home to see if I had been refunded. I was not. On September 28th I reached out via email and have been corresponding after multiples request and back and forth via email and I have yet to receive my refund. I was even asked for my bank account information stating to that they would refund my money that way. I am not giving any information to a company who should be able to refund it back to my PayPal account. I have received refunds from other companies via Paypal why can't they refund the same way. I am very disappointed and will be throwing away the other items that I purchased from this company as I am not feeling like I can't trust this company.

Buy in person, in the event you have to return the item.

I tried to cancel an order immediately after i placed it and they told me that isn't allowed. Then when i wanted to return it, they didn't accept it. I understand if the jewelry is opened but it was closed because as soon as they handed me the order i said i wanted to return it.

I made a purchase for my son as a gift back on August 24th. Today is the 1st of September and the package is just now being picked up from the warehouse. I would refer anyone to this site nor will I be making any future purchases. It shouldn't take a package over a week to be shipped out. Trying to contact someone is next to impossible and when I signed up for text notifications I have yet to receive any notifications. Poor customer service. The company is clearly about making a dollar but the customer satisfaction isn't important to them. Never again.

Avoid using the site, if you have a Spencer's in your area go to the store in person.

I ordered something online that wasn't physically in the store by me. It took a while to get to me and was a bit pricey thanks to shipping, but I didn't have any problems.
Try and do your shopping in store instead of online. They do have some nifty stuff, my favorite incense burner came from Spencer's.
Consider this place Hot Topic, once Hot Topic graduated high school and went to college because it had no other prospects.

I placed an order on 7/27. A week later, it still hadn't shipped. They never got back to me to tell me what was going on. Then last week, I get an email that my package is delivered. Their shipping carrier threw my package in the middle of my porch rather than bring it up to my apartment and the package got stolen. They refuse to refund me my money. Their customer service is something to be desired. Will never shop here online or in store ever again.

I'm generally a patient person. I don't write bad reviews because most places even if I'm mildly inconvenienced, are still pretty decent. This place is so $#*!ed. I had to contact customer service 5 separate times just to deal with a product that when I bought it in store literally never worked. They sent me a replacement and that didn't work and then I had to prove to them that the product didn't work in order to get a replacement. Now they're saying I can't get the product I want because its out of stock, but I also can't get my money back. So I either need to choose something else that I don't want or wait for it to get back in stock (which they have no estimate on how long it will take to get in stock so who $#*!ing knows how long it will take). I just want my money back so I can spend it somewhere else on a better product, but this $#*! of a company won't do that because their $#*!ing thieves stealing my money. I used to like Spencer's, but I honestly don't think I'll ever deal with them again. This is so $#*!ed. I'm out $60 on a product that doesn't work.

I ordered product from spencers online. They took my money and has been a week and are still refusing to send me my money back. Shop at there online store at your own risk. They are advertising products that are not even in stick and ripping off customers. I have filed my complaint with the BBB. I will never come back to any of there stores or online. STAY AWAY!

Don't shop spencers online. It's a scam. They show products available but are not. They take your money then cancel your order and refuse to return your money and good luck getting ahold of customer service as it's always closed.

I have never dealt with such a disgusting company before in my life. This company made me pay $45 in overnight shipping only to get the item to it's designation 4 days a later. They refuse to refund me the money I paid for overnight shipping. They had overnight shipping as a service available upon my purchase. Maybe don't have that as an option if that isn't doable for you?! I am not to blame for being a first time customer and finding out you can't commit to your own shipping options. Do not purchase overnight from this company, do not expect a refund, do not expect great customer service, do not expect quick shipping, do not expect commitment, do not expect regard, do not expect ANYTHING. You are better off going in person if you want to shop at Spencer's, but 2 years from now I bet they will go bankrupt which is why they are clenching onto every penny they have. For what it's worth, I filed a complaint with the BBB. Even if they do get over on me by not giving me my refund of the overnight shipping, at least they have a complaint on their record which is more than enough for me.

Go in store, do not order here. Expect delays and no refund. Do not order overnight even if it seems appealing, they will rip you off and get your item to you DAYS later

Bought one item for my wife three days ago. It wasn't quite what she wanted, so I returned it unopened, undamaged, with the receipt. They would not refund my money, only offering store credit, citing "store policy". Store credit does me no good, as there is nothing there that I want. I left and threw the item in the trash, which is where their awful customer un-service belongs. Will never be back.

I ordered a backpack from the website on a Friday. I paid for Overnight shipping which "estimated" it arriving on the following Monday. The shipping cost was almost as much as the backpack. I understand with the weekend it's not going to be exactly overnight. Get order confirmation, stating that it has shipped, but no tracking available yet, Cool. Monday arrives, no backpack. Get an email with a tracking number. It hasn't even been dropped off with a carrier yet on Monday. Finally ships on Tuesday, expected arrival on Thursday. So 6 Days is overnight now, hmm. I contact Spencer's Customer Service to request a refund on the shipping charges and get told the shipping is expedited once the warehouse processes the order. If its late after that you need to contact Fedex, its not Spencer's problem. Sorry No Refund. FedEx? Why does my shipping tracking number take me to the USPS tracking website? Also it shipped Tuesday and is scheduled to arrive Thursday? How is that Overnight? So basically it will ship when they get around to it, when they feel like it. DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN STANDARD SHIPPING. Take the free shipping if available. They can get away with what is essentially False Advertising by the inclusion of the "Estimated" in the Delivery Date. It's underhanded and borderline criminal behavior, and bad customer service. A complaint for USPS, my package was an hour away from my house on Wednesday, so It could have been here "Overnight" technically, but now its in Tulsa, Oklahoma..., so it looks like Thursday it is...maybe.

Do Not Trust the "Estimated" Arrival Date. It is a LIE.

Since when don't you get cash back when you pay cash. A sham of a place they need to put signage up and replace the employees at the Staten Island Mall store maybe tell customers "hey if you want to return this for any reason you aren't getting your money back we will let you exchange or give you store credit" what if I don't need anything else. It's a sweatshirt give me my money back.
