“Least Bias Reporting”

Jer M.
9/22/19

Got to love when folks nails media sites because of their political views. Fox, right wing bias, MSNBC left wing bias. Reuters does not show any of that from what I have read. More I tend to rely more on the research and community report from NewsGuard, AllSides, and Media Bias/Face Check, than disgruntled folks that have become just a little more toxic in their political opinions. The only thing I could potential say is wrong with Reuters is that it is lacking flash - all the bells and whistles that so many other news sites shove in your fact. Hummm, actually that is a great plus.

“Bias? Op-ed? Fact? Fiction? Who knows...”

Reuters "news" source's writers have sunk to a new low. Their assessment of the July 2020 US political climate is so far off base with its readership that they, themselves, have become what can only be termed propagandists. The time-honored profession of actual journalism is only a memory of past times when Edward R. Morrow types reported facts. That hardly applies anymore. In all honesty, Reuters seems far too partial to divisive ideologies to report accurate facts or tell the truth.

Clueless about the fraud mail in ballots evidence from Donald Trump, yet he's allowed to report the story on Pennsylvania, with a clear bias agenda, and misinformation.

A friend told me they only read current affairs from Reuters as they can be trusted to tell a story without choosing left or right, at first I believed it but now I'm seeing a lot of stuff that doesn't make it to Reuters or Reuters turning a long 2 sided story into a short one sided one (bias). Also it's extremely annoying when you scroll down and the headlines keep repeating like just in case you want to read the same $#*! again and again. Also if your looking for news out of south east Asia Reuters believes that's called china. Its not

Imgaine being such a failure that you work for a $#*! $#*! company like Reuters

They literally do nothing but stifle any and all things conservative and factual in an effort to push their own biased agendas and ideologies.

What a career path to choose... hope that 40k annually as well as the falsely induced sense of pride and accomplishment is worth being such a disgusting and worthless failure. Cucks.

After many years of reading Reuters News on a daily basis I finally have had enough of their biased and left leaning news reporting. There is nothing objective about it and their so called news is more like a warmed over CNN report.

The news channel which is already sold, as most of media is. However if it comes to some neutral non-political news - its fast and objective.

I've noticed a Russian and right wing bias in their reporting over past six years. Their funding is non transparent. This has happened to a number of other trusted Western news platforms as well.

These reporters are no longer credible, and going into the future I will take all news coverage from these communist sympathizers with a large brick of salt.

Fraud in the 2020 election is real. All the news here says to stay home and vote by mail but I never received a ballot in the mail (I get other state gov. Mail just fine). There are cases all across the country and the media wants to say it's not true. These lies should not be on tv.

It just reports somebody else's opinion (not researches and facts) to argue against the statements of highly regarded scientists who reported facts about Covid tests that are supported by scientific evidence

Reuter's ran a headline story last Friday (1/15) quoting Care ambulance services employee Eileen Cegarra, saying she was "overwhelmed" with calls, allegedly for "Covid." Having grown up in Los Angeles county area, where this ambulance service is located, I can assure you neither I nor anyone I know have ever heard of this company! And why would someone who thought they had "Covid" not go to their regular doctor, or an emergency room, or call 911 if they're having some kind of emergency symptoms -which seems extremely unlikely with a mild flu like symptoms of the alleged Covid, and the over 99% survival rate. So I called care ambulance services in Santa Fe Springs and spoke with Jennifer at the front desk. I asked her if they were truly overwhelmed with calls for people claiming they had Covid. "No". It was not true. She then got very nervous and would not put me through to speak with Eileen Cegarra. Reuter's journalists Norma Galeana and Alan Devall should be fired! This fear mongering story went out to all sorts of different news agencies and made front page headlines! And it is simply not true! And Reuters – where are the photos of the actual pandemic from your award-winning photo journalists? You have so many wonderful photographers and none have got photos to share from the middle of the "pandemic.?"

I am just a grandmother that never voices her opinion, but after listening to their piece on the Republican National Convention I just had to say how biased the reporting was. So many comments inserted in their reporting. I am ashamed that Ameeican journalism has deteriorated so much. Just had to say something. Very sad.

I used to read Reuters for more unbiased reporting than US media sources, but Reuters has been steadily decreasing quality journalism by interjecting negative spin on positive events. No more "fair and unbiased reporting".
Today's article reported on CNBC under the Reuters heading on "Made in America Week" is filled with invective sabotaging the positive event.
The first line sets the mood declaring "Plagued by daily revelations... the White House... tries to focus on issues that matter". I don't think Reuters or CNBC knows the motivation of the White House and is probably misrepresenting the real purpose of the event which is to showcase American products from all 50 states. An event of this magnitude has been in planning long before "the plague" of recent events.

The next paragraph cites the White House spokesperson speaking from "a hotel near President Donald Trump's golf course" which has nothing to do with Made in America Week but serves to impugn the President for his past use of his resorts.

The negative spin goes on through the entire report. It's possible that CNBC hijacked the Reuters feed and put their own spin on it or made it up on their own as there is no mention of Made in America Week in Reuters Top News, US, or Politics feeds. Is this more fake news? Maybe Reuters should monitor better how other media sources use their reports.

How about some straight up news?
Just the facts. No spin. No interpretation. No bias.
I'll form my own opinions, thank you.

"That the integrity, independence, and freedom from bias of Thomson Reuters shall at all times be fully preserved"

Reuters reporting has become heavily editorialized as of late, especially during the Trump era. It has swung heavily left lately with regards to immigration, China, and coverage of American politics.

Last year, Reuters didn't write a single article about a serial killer who killed upwards 20 white people. Billy Chemirmir. Why was that?

Why wasn't this considered newsworthy, but an argument in a dog park was national news for them? They have an agenda, and use gatekeeping to determine what people should see instead of what is actually newsworthy.

I'm a left leaning guy, but between Reuters and the ACLU I've lost faith in a lot of institutions that used to have integrity.

All day today Reuters has been pushing lies to soften the blow to the rich hedge funds at the cost of the little guy. I am absolutely disappointed and will never be able to believe anything this outlet says. We need market news we can trust, not lies to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

Used to be an unbiased source of news. Someone has changed that. Money changes everything unfortunately. The work for the Democrats now, 100%. Sad that we can't just have a source of news that isn't polluted with propaganda. I'd like to make my own decision on what I believe please.

Reuters is strongly supportive of Clinton and it's quite obvious. All of the pictures of Trump are while he's mid-sentence so he looks like a goblin in every article. All of the pictures of Clinton are her smiling and looking good in every article. Then they praise Clinton like she's an angel who does no wrong while Trump can cough at the wrong time and be called unfit for president. The point is, it gets annoying to read. I used to think Reuters had minimal biased and then the "2016 Election" category popped up. I go elsewhere for my political news.

I mainly use Reuters UK, but find it constantly pushes a Pro-EU platform, even when the facts don't add up. Enjoys deleted posts in Facebook arguments that show facts against its articles whilst leaving others whether bullying or bs. Voices more opinion than news at stages.

I used to enjoy Reuters as the most unbiased news reporting. I am a moderate and like to read unbiased news. However, I have noticed that over the past year or more, reuters does not seem neutral anymore. It seems like the stories posted are more biased than before. I want a just the facts news source, but am not sure where to find that anymore since Reuters is so biased now. I want to read the facts and come to my own opinion... Reuters seems to be making judgments and pushing the values of whoever is writing the story. They push a very globalist and countries without borders perspective. The new stories also seem to be based on a perspective that money and financial factors are the only factors that people should value or that should be used when judging the performance of a country when there are so many other things a people of a country may value and want more than money or "financial success". Maybe a country wants lower population in order to have decreased pollution or less of a drain on the country's resources. Maybe a coutnry wants a simpler way of life. While ever increasing populaiton can cause increases in "productivity" and the appearance of financial success or GDP, it also may cause a strain on resources, more pollution, and crowding. Not everyone believes in or values the globalist agendas.
