Their favorite answer is a "Bug". BS! This is internal code for bannishment or experimental information gathering to compare a site situation to when you are are active and when you are not.

Hi William, There are several reasons that you may not be able to access your app. Anything from a bug to disciplinary action can prevent log on. If you go to Help.nextdoor.com and type "contact" you should find a link on how to contact Nextdoor Support directly to engage someone in getting you back on the platform.
