Are all leads trained to function fairly and unbiasedly?

No. The corporate office has nothing to do with the administration of the actual site. They do not respond to customer service issues or neighborhood site problems. They do absolutely nothing. There is no training whatsoever. Period. Whomever is "lucky" enough to create a page for their neighborhood, is the one that moderates. Alternatively, that original person can designate other moderators (who can lock out the original moderator if they are allocated enough permission).

Absolutely NOT. Our LEAD is a bully, picks on both men & women, deletes things he doesn't like & constantly reports people who disagree with him. Nextdoor is a joke!

In my experience, they need far more training in the area of people who bully each other and postings that are used for sheer meanness. They should be allowed to warn people as well as deactivate them. I left after 2 weeks because I did not have time or energy for petty nonsense, arguing, dark commentary and vitriol.

The whole site is run by politically correct San Francisco based liberals who are founded in communist beliefs - its their way or the highway. Steer clear. You are not the only one. I was kicked off.

No training at all here in Plano, I was blocked for talking about local mayor by a lead who is a atheist and socialist.
