Hi Barbara, AusPost have just launched their own branded forwarding service www.shopmate.auspost.com.au - suggest you give this a go as the rates seem very competitive. A sample 3Kg package will cos t$60.65 AUD rather than $115 AUD ($88.67 USD) via MyUS.
This might let you get a second pair!

Barbara you can judge yourself if the cost associated with MyUS is worth for a pair of shoes. Personally I think they offer a great service at very reasonable price. All fees are very clear with them and they are reliable and fast. As far as internal US delivery is concerned, it accounts for a very small amount on the total. My only comments on MyUS services can only be good as I am with them since quite sometime and I also have shipped two pair of shoes with them, as I couldn't find them anymore in Italy... Hope this helps.

See my earlier post Barbara, be careful using MYUS, you will also need to pay any import duties as well. Their repacking service they recommend for shoes supposedly to save you money stinks.

I had a rug shipped to England. There was a ten dollar charge for membership. No shipping costs from the original company within the US and I thought reasonable charges for shipping from MyUS. If you know the weight beforehand you can work out the charges. We had customs and VAT to pay at this end but you probably wouldn't for shoes. Equally you might not think it worth it for shoes.

^I completely agree with Kiku. You can see my full review of my experience with MyUS. I'd only ship with them if there are no other options. Perhaps you can check out other similar shipping companies that may charge less and have better service.

Hi Barbara
MyUs will ship them to you but it is probably not worth it for one pair of shoes. You have to pay a membership fee as well as postage. If Footsmart do not accept Australian credit cards you will also have to pay a$10 US personal shopper fee and then postage. You may have to pay two lots of postage, once to ship to your US address and then further postage to ship to Australia. The service is very reliable and quick and the staff are great but it is not a cheap service. You can check their website for costs, all prices are in US dollars and there are no hidden charges. Have you tried Amazon with merchants who ship internationally? Amazon shipping costs for international shipping are much lower. Hope this information helps.

Yes, MyUS is great for that and it was quick too.

I would say yes, if your shipment is very uncomplicated, and if you don't mind not knowing exactly how much you will pay, until the item has been shipped. One other thing that disturbed me was that you need to park your credit card details with them, so they can charge you whatever they deem fit.

Join a site called MyUS. The goods get delivered to them in the US, then transshipped to you. Excellent and efficient service, and very fast
