What happens when I replace a 208 volt electric water heater with one that is 220 volt?

asked by Richard P. on 7/10/17

1 Answer
So if the power supply is 208 and you install a 230 volt water heater on it, you will not get the rated BTU's as listed for the water heater. It will be less then rated.
