Is this a good company to purchase from? There is a complaint on another web-site, saying that land central kept a person's deposit money. The person purchased property and land central withheld information about said land until they got deposit money, then kept it. This dosen't sound good. Just need to know about this company before I purchase from them.

The reason why the land is so cheap is because they buy land on auctions and foreclosures... and then the customers have the change to make a good deal out of it. I bought my piece of land a couple of days ago for $3K (1.51 acres) in Rio Rico, Az. When I look at the land value thru the tax assessor's site I think a made a very good deal.
I can only say i had a very good experience with them and I would certainly reccomend them to family and friends (which I already did and now my father-in-law is gonna be my neighbor there in Rio Rico!)

Like all contracts, one should read the fine print. My deposit on one piece was moved to another piece of Land when I was not happy with what I was researching after I purchased... They are not in the habit of keeping funds, but they do have a policy you should be aware of. I have made 3 purchases all totaled. If you are wanting to invest in good clear and free titled solid land then Land Central is the place. Make sure you do county, and city research on the property before you sign the contract. ;)

Never heard of it. Very interesting though. I saw an acre of land in mendicino CA for like $5K. They say after they legalize pot in CA that city will be the napa valley of pot growers in the US.

Anyone familiar with Brooktrails Vacation Village in the nice redwoods area of Mendocino county? It has it's own township and police/ fire department and only 25% of plots sold. There is a 5+ year old now build and hook-up moratorium because of inadequate water capacity of reservoir, which as yet they haven't been able to remedy.
I have a deposit on a. 3 acre foreclosure priced at $7,600. I guess I will just hold now for it's investment value. I noticed on Zillow a $550K property. 7 mile away and a few others in the 250-300K range inside of a mile.
