Issuu is really easy to use and they've added more integrations such as with Canva. We've used it to create digital magazines that offer local resources and generate brand awareness. With our subscription level, we can remove watermarks, embed, etc., which is key. We've gotten great feedback, have embedded them on websites, and see high read times, increasing time on page and boosting SEO. Their other features like GIFs are really handy and quick to create. I'm looking forward to using Visual Stories and producing more great content through our Issuu subscription.

I have been trying to delete / deactivate my account and customer services has taken days to get back to me and has me going in circles. I've tried to delete account several times and it says "service unavailable". Customer service has been offered no help. I've tried emailing several times, and calling the 800 #, left voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. This company is a scam. Do NOT USE THEM!

Tl; dr Great UX, Regularly pushing new improvements

I have been using Issuu for 2 years at the company I work for. We needed a better way to host our marketing publications online, and after discovering Issuu I helped convince by supervisor it was a worthwhile investment. The key reasons we use Issuu are the UX and analytics. I've already recommended the service to some of my counterparts at other organizations.

I have run into some issues with their tool that auto-pulls articles from your publications, but it's not impossible to work with because of the built-in editor. Issuu also regularly puts out new tools and bug fixes, so I'm sure they'll get that sorted soon.

Tip for consumers:
Depending on your needs, I recommend buying additional unlisted publications. That's come in handy for the company I work at, where we need to publish documents internally and externally.

I found content on Issuu's website that violates their Community Standards and Terms of Service. It contained personally identifiable information on a great number of people and the textual descriptions of the posted content made defamatory/libelous claims against individuals that is false.

I've been trying to report this to Issuu for a week. I've tried every phone number I can find and emailed every email address I could find. I've left voicemails and gotten zero responses (via call or email).

Finally I realized they had a live chat feature for paying subscribers so I created an account and subscribed... only to not see the live chat feature available via the help widget like their website states you should.

I would VERY MUCH like to hear from someone at Issuu to help me get this content removed from their website as quickly as possible.

I was actually blown out of a chat when I asked for a refund. Tickets and complaints are ignored. And I can't get my credit card off my account so they'll probably bill me again. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Issuu has the WORST customer service. I cannot find the user name or password for the account I inherited at work without their help, and so can't get to the dashboard. Issuu will NOT let you talk to a human, only stupid drop down menus, each more ridiculous than the last. I'd love to hear from a human there, but it looks like they just have sales people intent on continuing to foist this product on the public. TALK TO ME, ISSUU!

I advertised on Geelong Inderpendant 5 years ago & my phone number is still on Google ISSUU what an invasion of privacy
The scammers can easily access private information.

Nobody was properly informed of these changes and they are severely limiting what we can and cannot publish. The document and file sizes are ridiculous. This will be the reason I no longer use ISSUU. Such a disappointment.

We sent this out to all users associated with this plan type to inform them about upcoming limitations to their publications and give them time to assess their account, even if it had not been used in years.

When I search for doll magazines, I also get child sex doll publications and catalogs. Repulsive. What company allows these? Will not use ISSUU for ANYTHING.

I thought I would love this cuz everybody was using it... well, not so happy. Barely works, uploads take at least 5 attempts to process and/or register. Just keep trying and it will work eventually... the stats are rarely accurate and even more rarely up to date/current. Today I saw there were 72 click thru's from another source and Issuu only shows 20. Geez. I am going to be looking hard for another host for our online magazine.

Tip for consumers:
if you are stuck with them, keep trying and things eventually work but it's a PIA.

I have That Girl At The Party, an online Lifestyle site of 10 years and decided to add a monthly edition. I was thrilled with the Issuu concept and all my brand partners loved it. The problem came after my second edition. I need to be able to embed the Issuu reader into my site to promote the existence of the monthly. The embed code has not worked for a month now so the old edition is still on the site!

And I have been asking for help for a month now. I filled out tickets that just whirl and never submit, I have called and no one answers. I have emailed the support and heard nothing back! For a flipping month! I am paying for this service and likely will not be able to use it unless this is fixed! But no one is getting back or doing anything. It is such a shame because it is a beautiful platform and allows us to self publish. But it has to work and they need to hire customer service for subscribers.

I want to stay with Issuu for ease of use and promotion. But I may have to seek another option because they do not bother with any customer service which is a shame. It creates great magazines but if anything goes wrong in uploads or embeds you are just out of luck. But I am going to have to report them to the authorities and/or commence a class action, if I do not hear back after this review. Because they are taking people's money and not providing proper service. I

I want to stay with Issuu for ease of use and promotion. But I may have to seek another option because they do not bother with any customer service which is a shame. It creates great magazines but if anything goes wrong in uploads or embeds you are just out of luck.

Our company recently uploaded our first publication on Issuu.com. We have found the site's navigation fairly intuitive, and have been able to chat with customer services reps for any other issues we could not solve ourselves. In both cases with chat, the rep quickly answered our questions. In another case, we emailed a question to support and received and answer with a couple of hours. We are using our own marketing to drive readership to our magazine, and have been very pleased with the results. No one has had any problems accessing the magazine on Issuu.com

I set up my sales with Issuu because I liked the way they present books. They looked pretty professional.

But at $45 per month I would expect a lot more traction from potential customers. Another service I use is free and sells way more units. I'm now locked out of my account- Can't even cancel- and I'm still being charged.

Steer clear.

They charged my account $445 for an auto renewal. It was difficult to figure out how to stop the service. I am not pleased with their policy.

ISSUU is now a part of the life of my publishing business. I am the publisher of Grown at Home magazine and I love the fact that ISSUU produces a quality magazine that offers statistics. These statistics help me measure readership. ISSUU also gives me the option of creating visual stories from the main points of my articles. They offer article stories as well. Some of the feature for these stories are limited but ISSUU upgrades ever so often. Plus, it hosts regular workshops that show me how to get the best out of using ISSUU. The sales team is friendly and easy to work with. I love using ISSUU. It helps to give my business the professional image that I always want to achieve.

I've signed up for Issuu 12 years ago when it was free for up to 500 pages per publication. Despite a couple of UX bugs it was the best free publishing services for magazines.
I used it to publish our non-commercial student magazine and the idea was to have it free and accesible for public. I even embeded the publications on various sites.
Recently, I discovered all the magazines are hidden from public view?! Reason: they sneakily changed the terms and conditions and now demand 28 dollars per month to keep the magazines that I already had uploaded years ago! On tom of that, the upload dates are scrambled, the statistics are gone, and the whole site feels like a ghost town. Sad indeed.
I will move to another service, which is a pain since I'll have to re-embed all the old publication links.

As a communications agency and after having worked with dozens of plugins, this is arguably the worst company I have worked with.

Now unable to get a refund for an unused service.

As an occasional art teacher, I am constantly on the lookout for inspiration on everything that's connected with crafting, woodworking, printing and general DIY-ing. Issuu used to be my go-to source for this field as well as many others. A while ago, I noticed a decline in the quality as well as in the quantity of the content which is now reduced to company catalogs and "previews" of rather irrelevant books (2021). I've logged on to Issuu maybe 2-3 times this year and found that a lot of books are missing from my library. Seems like publishers are avoiding Issuu and so am I now.

Our charitable nonprofit org abrahamicalliance.org has been using ISSUU for several years. We were looking for a platform to publish our PDF newsletter digitally so people could read it online full screen and flip through the pages in a way that mimics print media. Our journey was over after finding ISSUU. We used the free version for a few years but recently upgraded and have been loving it. ISSUU is truly an amazing technology for digital publications. Having done all the uploads and publications myself, I much appreciate their intuitive interface and simplicity. On rare occasion when I needed support, they were responsive and extremely helpful.
