Indian Customs do require you to pay customs fees and taxes which can be pretty high. Since laws change so quickly with customs, it would be a good idea to check with customs to see the latest requirements and fees. Most packages get delivered to India with in 5 to 7 business days. Global Mail has the possibility to also get assessed customs fees. However, because it uses postal clearance instead of express clearance like DHL International Shipping it is less likely to get assessed duties and taxes as well as additional charges.

Global Mail has the possibility to also get assessed customs fees. However, because it uses postal clearance instead of express clearance like DHL International Shipping it is less likely to get assessed duties and taxes as well as additional charges. Thank you for your inquiry. DHL does not add customs charges to any package. It is actually the country's customs department that charges these extra fees. Each country has different rules and regulations in regards to their additional fees.
