House of Beauty is a haven of all things beauty and wellbeing in Barnsley. I had my nails done by the apprentice Ameleigha and the results are amazing. I have psoriasis which affects my nails, so I am self conscious about them. But the results are fantastic and I am going to get booked in for my next treatment very soon. I highly recommend going there. The staff are wonderful.

This "company" is a joke. Customer service line goes to someone's home phone. It's been A MONTH, and I haven't received my entire order. I've received 3 items and one of them was open and janky! It looked like their products came from the expiring soon, sale bin at Marshalls. They don't send product that says "in stock", And they won't give you a refund either. Go to Cosmetic World! I got all of my products brand new, in a few days time.

I used House of Beauty for over a year. Have had no problems. This last order I placed, never arrived. There is virtually no way to get this company to answer you, whether it be by texting thru their website or just a plain email. No response after many tries. The phone number just rings until it finally goes into a recording telling you the mailbox is full. I had finally had to call my credit card company to get my money back. Beware, you will regret buying from this company.

I ordered a nail set on the 15th of May, I was told it would be delivered by the 25th, it's now the 13th of June. I've tried emailing for weeks, calling, contacting through their website, and I have had no reply! On the tracking they provided it's been in the same place for 4 weeks, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! It is a scam!

Do not trust these scammers! They will take your money and never send you your order. I placed an order over a month ago for my home salon, and they never send my items. They refuse to pick up their phones or flat out hang up on you. Im so pissed that I dont care how much it cost, im filing a civil suit against this company for fraud. Ya'll messed with the wrong one. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS!

I reordered a wig from House of Beauty World in January of 2020. The texture was not the same as the previous one, so I returned it for an in house credit. I've reached out to them via phone, email and Facebook to no resolution. Each time I was told to be patient, someone would get back with me. I am STILL WAITING.
I even ordered another wig and contacted them about my in house credit. Instead of a credit, they billed my credit card. At this point, I want a REFUND.
I will also be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Tip for consumers:
Buy at your own risk. Customer service is pretty much non existent. Offers in house credit on returns but you can't reach them to use it. That makes it TOTALLY WORTHLESS.

I ordered 3 mascaras and a shipping label was created soon, however the order never left their facility until an entire month later. 4 emails to them about why it hadn't shipped went unanswered. Finally, after 5 weeks, I received my order only to find ONE mascara and a note saying they were waiting on a shipment from another warehouse and owed me 2 mascaras. Another email sent about canceling the order went unanswered as well. I will never buy from them again. I am disgusted.

Takes them a month to ship.

I ordered perfume from them on May 8 totaling $98.10. I got an email on May 12th saying it may take longer to ship due to Covid19. The charge hit my account on May 11th. Around May 20th, I started looking for my tracking number but I was never given one. I checked my order on June 1st and it said that it has been cancelled. I've call all the numbers listed for this business during business hours and I only get a recording. My order was cancelled yet they still charged me. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a Mugler Angel gift set and the perfume is bad. Please see the pictures so you can see the difference and how bad the product is. It stinks too. The perfume is brownish gray instead of clear blue.

I'm not sure if their product is fake or just past expiration but my perfume is off and the woman on the phone doesn't seem to help. She won't discuss the problem and just keeps hanging up. I also sent an email with photos.

Tip for consumers:
Buyer beware. Items are either fake or expired. Pay full price at a department store. Saving 20.00 isn’t worth this hassle. Keep in mind I’ve spent time on this review too.

I am so mad and that's why I am writing a review! If you guys could pick up call and reply emails we wouldn't be here I ordered for Nutriclair glycerin on July 14 I received my package today August 28! Not only it took forever they sent a wrong product after being all this patient! I wish I read this before ordering if you are lucky today to see this please stay away from this house of beauty $#*!! These all 5 start reviews is bs!

Ordered a jar of Vitapointe hair cream. Chose 3-7 day standard shipping, but after paying with paypal and placing order, it listed 3 day delivery for $15. Emailed immediately for change, but no response. Emailed 6 times, reply finally got was rude and refused to help. THIS SELLER charges a 30% restocking fee, so not worth returning my $24 jar of hair cream. What a RIPOFF. And check out their attitude on website if you try to dispute via PayPal. SCUM.

BUYERS BEWARE:

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews prior to ordering $250 of product from this company nor did I check with the BBB. They have numerous complaints for the same thing i. E, taking your money and not shipping products for 2 months or perhaps no product at all. They kept my money for over a month. Alfter 15 emails and 3 phone calls to disconnected numbers, I requested refund. Still nothing. This company needs to be investigated for deceptive and unfair business practices. I finally was able to get Amazon to refund my money. If you haven't gotten a refund or your order, I suggest contacting The BETTER BUSINESS Bureau OR the following. I plan to do both. Good luck. You're going to need it.

At first this site seemed legit and trustworthy, I ordered from them more than once everything went fine. But when I had an item to return for a refund, and jumped through all the ridiculous hoops required in there return policy, they didn't honor there end an refund my money. They kept my item and never sent my refund. Finally I got a call from a man saying it would take about 7 weeks for my refund to come through, its been months since then, still no refund or reply to my emails. (DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE).

I am requesting a full refund fir 2 of the items shipped arrived damaged due to the lids on the mega growth leave in treatment and the virgin hair conditioner were not properly taped nor tightened causing lids spilled in the entire box. My order number is *******. Photos has already been sent 3 weeks ago along with help request emails and received NO responses back. Please refund my money back immediately!

I've had a issue since January when I got in touch to resolve it, so many messages saying "Bear with us due to the pandemic"blah blah blah
So after 11 weeks I've had enough go to send another message and webpage disappeared and I've been blocked! Disgusting absolutely disgusting! Be very cautious buying from this diabolical company!

Contacted multiple times on damaged goods, playing ring around the rosie, not giving any solution & blaming the carrier vs poor packaging. Waste of money and now I have an item I cant use, no resolution on the damage & no offer of credit or returning of the product. Worst business to deal with. They have no voice mail and no one answers the phone. Tried 6 times to contact through email & do not care it came damaged. I'd give a zero if I could. It wobbles back and forth and plastic busted on the side. Low quality product.

Tip for consumers:
Dont waste your money. Low grade beauty products. Took a long time to arrive, arrived damaged & blamed it on the carrier with no returns or exchanges.

I placed my order on 18th May (over 5 weeks ago!) and have received confirmation that my order has been shipped, however when I view the tracking number it indicates that 'status is not available'. I have paid $80 USD and unsure I will even see my products! Order number HOB-*******. Just want a refund now. Instead of answering to all of the bad reviews - how about taking the time to reply to those that have sent emails asking about their order! Crossing my fingers still and hoping this is not a fake company.

This is by far the worst Merchant I have ever done "business" with! I'll never purchase another item from them and I have notified everyone to stay away from purchasing from them. They are rude and unprofessional... Just take a look at their BBB responses to customers. When there's an issue with your order, you can't get in touch with anyone via phone or email. Terrible service, I can't believe they're still in business! Never again!

Order at your own risk! I ordered a couple of times from this company. My last order/final order was 3box hair dye and a kiss nail kit... approx. 2wks later I received my order with only the dye and no kit... just a note stating the kit was out of stock and I would recieve a refund... wks pass no refund! Mine you it's only 11.95+ tax. I emailed... no response. I called all the numbers on Google... same recording... no one answered. I finally just left a message stating I wanted my refund. To my surprise they returned my call. The unnamed man asked me my name and zip code. I told him what happened. He asked me to email a copy of the letter they sent! W T F yes maybe I should have kept it but they shouldn't have taken my money for something that was out of stock and if they did they should be able to look in their system to see that I did not receive the item. This made me mad because it suggests I am being untruthful which I get it some are. After I said I was going to call my credit card company... he said he'd give me the refund and hung up on me. I will give them a couple of days to run me my money... if not I will report it to the credit card company. It's not about the money its just the way they do business. Maybe I should have used my white voice.

I placed an order with house of beauty back in April. Although the payment was processed right away, my order took 4weeks to get to me. 4 weeks! During that time I sent multiple emails to cancel the order, not to ship. To these emails I got NO replies. I feel they completely ignored my concerns and did NOTHING in terms of trying to respond or communicate with me.

I ordered goods worth almost $800 USD in June, got the goods at the end of July only to receive the good with a not saying the remaining order will be shipped in September! That is almost half of my order that was not snet. No email was sent prior to this to inform me. I have written several emails, tried to ring House of Beauty to no avail. I only got an email last week from one of the workers and she stopped communicating. I have bought items within a year totaling almost $4,000 USD and to be treated so lowly is disappointing. I mainly shop online and have never been treated like this by any shop. I would appreciate if my refund is issued ASAP as I don't think I would want to do business with this company again. This is the most disgusting way to treat customers.
