Is First American Home Warranty a scam or a legit company?

TOTAL SCAM:

Yes CEO of InternetSafe LLC has determined homewarranty.firstam.com online or by phone is a total ripoff scam. You will pay your premiums for a year then they will send out fake service, with fake parts order. You have been warned: just save your money and replace things with cash when they wear out!

They are a legitimate business, and one frequently offered as a perk when buying a new house. But there are other home warranty companies, and I would use any other than First American Home Warranty.
