No fees. However, the deals they advertise never add up to be what they seem on the web site. Beware

No fees. It's not a membership program. Be sure to check the web for competitors prices before you buy. Many items can be bought for less and some items are discontinued or have been poor sellers.

No fees but check the prices with the actual site the Groupon is for first before you buy. Groupon tends to exaggerate prices to make the deal seem better than it really is.

No fees no problems! I have purchased many items through Groupon. They are fast and deal with reliable Companies. I will continue to buy through them. The very best deal I've bought was All about home carpet cleaning. It was cheap and my 7 year old carpet looked new again!

No fees buy the Groupons you want to use but I also suggest looking at reviews of the business before you buy any Groupons. But I personally have had no problems. I love groupon

No fees. Can get some very good deals. Typically have a certain period of time to use the groupon, eg a year, 6 months. Also, typically, even after that time period the dollar amount you actually paid is acceptable by the restaurant, etc. Major point - only buy a Groupon if you will use it!

No fees, but be careful. Definitely read small print. I quit using due to a very bad experience with a deal that cost me over $500 and they didn't stand by it. It was very misleading. The deals usually aren't any better than you can find on your own

As Lucy b says here ,the merchants /shops that use Groupons do pay big fees.
Something else that I heard from a merchant is that if you,the customer do not use the Rroupon voucher you purchasrd,or you forget to use it,the poor merchant gets paid nothing, but Groupon keeps all the voucher price themselves.
So I would imagine thats a windfall for Groupon.

No fees and they do not cut you off if you fail to order. Just research the website of the product before you get the groupon as the groupons do expire if purchased but not used by a certain time period.

No fees - but, most companies that are part of it are companies that need to put out Groupons to get business. Companies that are good and that provide good services do not need to do participate in Groupon.

No fee for customer. There are fees for merchants. Merchants pay 30 to 50% of each voucher sold. If its a service based business like Massage (single therapist) or restaurant, please tip generously.
