Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from GoodRx staff and previous consumers.
GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Hi Laura, prescription drug pricing is complicated. But that's why we started GoodRx - to bring transparency and lower prices directly to you! GoodRx prices are based on pharmacy cash prices which change daily. We update our prices often and do our best to track down the lowest prices. There are instances where GoodRx may have the lower price, and others where the cash price may be lower. We encourage you to take advantage of whichever is offering you the lowest price for your medication!
Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
