Why does fxgiants offer so many different accounts for trading?

Better to ask them directly via email or support in the live chat. For me the reason for their multi account variety is simply, a try to suit more traders. Every trader has its unique time to trade. Scalpers need more predictability, since spreads might widen too much on smaller timeframes they execute their trades. Day traders need just tight spreads. Swing traders would better avoid commissions and swaps.
That’s 6 accounts, that’s why there are different execution systems. Standard for someone who doesn’t care much, just deliver my trades to the market. ECN for faster, less costly execution for someone who values trading costs: scalpers, algo traders, volume traders. Isn’t it great to have a choice, not a single account…

Well, perhaps it depends on different trading styles, right. You see, there are many ways to trade, some prefer intraday scalping, or if not scalping, then 5 or 15-min timeframe charts can be analyzed to look for breakouts that can last hours, and still complete the trade withing one single day, while there are long term traders, for whom it is vital to keep positions for several days and weeks. So, spreads play a huge part then, and it is of course for those who trade fast, it can be scalping or just intraday as I wrote. So, the broker offers different account types LIve or STP/ECN... the lower the spreas, the more lucative trading becomes for market operators. ALso, there can a fixed spread, like very low, 0, but in that case there will a fee, which is obvious. FOr those who prefer to rely on market dynamics, then the spreads can be floating, dependant on the market nature. At the same time, if spreads do not matter, then it is mostly for long term trades, coz in their approach spreads wont affect their potential profit from hige price moves they anticipate to cathc. So, it is all about preferences and how you trade.
