A recent radio program advised that owners of late model F-150's can operate their vehicle with a low voltage battery and do significant damage to the electric system under the hood. Is this true and how do you prevent it outside of buying a new battery about every 2 years. I live in Fl where under the hood temp is bound to be unbelieveable. Please advise.
