Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from DealDash staff and previous consumers.
Thanks for writing Chuck. For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work We operate on the "pay to participate/bid model" so it's required that you purchase bids in advance. This loads up your account balance. You can check out our promotional bid pack prices here: https://www.dealdash.com/buybids
Hi Armando. For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work Please note that although signing up on DealDash is free we have a pay to bid system where you must purchase a bid pack at first if you want to participate in the auctions. The $64 charge is for a starter bid pack of 400 bids, which is a great choice to get started! DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase and a winning guarantee. If you decide to give DealDash a try and don't win an auction with your first bid pack we'll return the bids back to your account free for a second chance. If you're still not satisfied with your DealDash shopping experience we'll be happy to refund your first bid pack purchase no questions asked. You can even keep any bids in your account or items you have won. Giving DealDash a try is risk free!
Unfortunately, overbidding is a phenomenon we cannot explain. Users are completely responsible for the amount of bids they place in an auction. However, in some rare cases you can see this kind of situations happening. We do not have an explanation or reason why someone would overbid. This does not benefit neither bidders, nor DealDash, since it makes our overall customer experience worse and makes us look dishonest. However, since we do not have any kind of control on bids placed by our users, we cannot avoid overbidding. I hope this helps clarify. Please let us know if there’s anything else you need. We’ll be happy to help.
Very interesting -- I'm never clear on the jurisdictional issues because by treaty certain types of laws can be enforced in certain countries? (ie, if Swoopo has no assets in the US, and a judgement is rendered against it, a US treaty with Germany for breaking X law allows people to collect the German held assets?). Ah, if I only went to law school...
Hi Perry, Thank you for getting in touch. I'm afraid that if you do not win an auction, you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You do however have the option to use Buy it Now! With the Buy it Now option you simply pay the normal price, and not only do you receive the item, you get all your bids back from the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. If you don't want to use Buy it Now, you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Hope this helps! Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you, it would be our pleasure.

Hi Jeffrey! Each time you win an auction or place a 'Buy it Now' order, you will be able to view and modify your address.
