Eric, our covers are safe to use on all boats! Our instructions state that colorfastness should be tested on new boats where the vinyl may still be off-gassing from the factory. Additionally, some cleaning compounds can cause reactions, so testing colorfastness is recommended prior to permanent use. If a customer ever has ANY issue, we stand behind our products and send replacement products when necessary. Contact us if you need additional help! Thank you for your question!
