Hi my wife is 57yrs old and I am 51yrs old. She was a recovering addict when I met in 2001. I married her in 2008 and tried to provide a home for her but she has always had this obsession of collecting men phone numbers. This year I recently discovered thru her girlfriend that she was dating some one at the bowling alley we both attended. She has been seeing this person for well over a year and collecting money from them. When ever I approached her for sex she would make up an excuse and then say that she doesn't trust me. Then at one point she insist that I wear protection. Now that we are separated, she disappears constantly and when I call to invite her out- she will have me sitting outside her home for 45minutes until she decides to show up. And she constantly asks for money. I tried to sit and talk to her but she becomes confrontational and clams up and then she wants her space. I am trying to find out whats going on but I am confussed. I asked er if she ever loved me and she just holds her head between her hands and stare down at the ground. What can I do to reach her. I am open to any advice. I overhead her several times talking to a man in our home while we lived together but when I confronted her she started yelling it's a lie. Somehow I feel she believes her own lies...

She is still an addict run like hell you cant help her only she can help herself dont get caught up in her drama I just ended a relationship like this best thing I ever done forget about her I am the same age you are move on and find someone else may not be easy but it will be the best thing for you which is who you have to worry about you not her
