Why was Cardcash given an "F" from the Better Business Bureau and its membership actually revoked?

Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating.

A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB.

As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating.

Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.

Because they're not an honest company, perhaps.

The same thing happened to me. 0 balance when I tried to use the card which was supposed to be 200. The money was gone two days after I got the card...but unfortunately I found out after 45 days and they company refused to refund me. Very disappointed!

630 complaints according to the BBB. That is why! You cannot trust this company. I am contemplating suing them.

It's not a surprise. They are a terrible company. If you make a purchase and the gift card ends up having 0$ chances are they will claim you used it and are lying. Don't waste your time purchasing from them. I reported them to the BBB myself. Not only did I have a terrible experience but so did a friend of mine. We each made 1 purchase and 1 only. My order got canceled but they still took my money from my paypal. My friend received a gift card that had a 0$ balance that's as suppose to have $200 on it.

No surprise here, fraudulant companies often receive low ratings from the BBB.

is there any recourse if I buy a card that is suppose to have a certain balance, and it turns out that the card does not have the correct balance? I have never used cardcash before and I am trying to decide if I should use it I bought a $50.00 chic filet card and when I received it I checked the balance and there was a 50.00 balance on the card. Since I had full possession of the card and checked the balance when I received the card, I figured the card was good at any time. I went to use the card and the clerk at chic fil-a said there was no balance on the card. How can that be? It was good the day I received it and now it is no good. These cards have no experation date. I have not yet ever made a purchase and am skeptical. Why are so many cards reportedly carrying a $0 balance once purchased? Are people able to sell them to these sites, and then spend them online anyway if they have written down/taken a picture of all the needed #s? I just lost 450$ because my gift card was used on the day I received it! That's insane because I have never been to Chicago and it was used in store in Chicago. Since it has not passed 45 days, will I get a refund? how long does it take to receive a check in the mail once a gift card is sold to you? thank you What is with all these negative reviews? I am looking to purchase multiple cards but hesitate due to the reviews. If I purchase an ecard for a store like Dunkin Donuts, can I add the balance on the ecard to my DD rewards card? i am about to sell my giftcard. how soon can i get the money i'm looking to sell my gift card but i need the cash ASAP Do your cards have experation dates
