Attempted to use the site to pull the report on my accident from last week. Nothing comes up. Then I see a small notice that the site will no longer allow you to search for accidents without an approved purpose. I didn't see anywhere to even put in those kind of credentials and was not given any by the officer at the scene, just the CrashBuy business card with the date and report number. Is this site even still useful?

Wow can't believe I almost gave you guys money to give me my police report.
What a way to make money. Got to say is pretty clever but I feel that irs unethical.
Wonder what kind of deal they got with local law enforcement agencies all over the country. Probably something like "hey hand confused people this sitename to have them pay for something they are entilted to, and will kick you guys back some % of $ made?"
Why else would the police use this service. Just a little bit more rev huh?

I don't get, why I have to pay for an accident report to the third party. Isn't that enough I pay police salary and pretty handsome retirement from my taxpayer money? I I don't care if it is legal or not. It's a waste of taxpayer money and it should be illegal. Shame on you USA for accepting this, shame on you state Illinois for joining this scheme and ripping us off.

You have to buy your own crash report. That is a joke. Something you should get free. The crash report is made by public service (police) buy the report is given to a third party to sell.

Nothing would show up when I tried using this site. Finally tried calling and after waiting for over 30 minutes I got someone from another country that wasn't able to help me at all. At least he could understand English enough to tell me that the site couldn't do anything for me.

I've contacted them repeatedly. No report. Finally got a chat and their advice was just wait longer. Going to the police department tomorrow and try to get the report from them.

They don't even show the report after purchasing and some of us actually only need it for employment purposes! Whom ever is in charge of the site needs to be prosecuted for robbery

I shouldn't be charged to view a report that should be available for free. My car got hit when I was turning on a green arrow, not my fault whatsoever. This situation is stressful enough without this making it worse. Whatever happened to the good ol days of being given an accident report from the p. D themselves?!? It's disgusting to make an already bad situation even worse.

I was in an accident 3 weeks ago and there is still nothing. There's no excuse for the police not to give reports when the insurance companies won't move forward without them. All this site does is add stress to an already stressful situation. It's 2019, don't try to tell me this is the best they can offer.

Had an accident on 12/9/17 still waiting to hear from them car is in storage being charged $50 a day Today is 1/4/18. No sign of report New Jersey sold there soul for a buck from this comp. Shame on you for selling out on your people. How stupid was I to trust the trooper. Should have gotten names of all involved and phone numbers myself. You are to be ashamed of yourselfs for what you do.

Do not use this site I paid for a report 16.00 back in April 2019 to this day still never received the report. No I will not waste my time calling and calling and calling... They withdrew the funds but never held up on their end... waste of time and money...

Waste of time - NEVER allow the officer to use this. Demand another alternative. Seems like the easy way out. They should just be writing up a report that you can go to the station and get a copy of!

It doesn't matter how long you wait, you'll never see a report show up in the search. I waited a month and then called the police to go get it myself. That previous experience was three years back. Here I am again and can't find a report, won't be trying this service again. If they can't get a report ready to be purchased and they haven't even got payment yet, just imagine how bad they are after they have actually been paid.

Unable to obtain report. Got the runaround. Tried and tried. Even paid the fee. Seems like a scam! What's the point of submitting it here if you can't get the report.

I was not at fault in the accident I was involved in yet I still had to pay for a report that should have been free. This was the only way to receive the report I needed for my records and insurance records so that I could get my car fixed. Rip off $11.00 and I signed up for the emails to inform when the report was ready waste of time never received it and don't bother calling! Awful website such a scam!

Deceptive web page, total scam. There is not reason form them to exist other than to dupe you into using them. File the report yourself with the police it is free. I am taking these thieves to small claims court

This is a scam for Lazy cops that do not want to provide the insurance information for the parties involved in an accident. We pay our taxes for these pigs to do their job and instead the send us here!

This website can be very helpful for finding police reports. The only reason I gave it three stars is because I know that some other people in my office have had some issues with the site. The site would definitely be improved if there were even more search options.

Don't waste your money or your time!

It is so slow better off to go to police station and get your report. That's what I had to do to get things done it's been nine days still haven't heard from them. Take the matter onto your own hands you'll be better off.

Contacted the company several times for report. Each time the company stated the report was ready. Followed the direction they sent and there site still stated the report was not ready. Call the 1800 number given and the man is telling me there is no supervisor. He has placed me on hold and has yet to return to the line. This company is garbage and provides horrible customer service. Accident was 2/19/18 and now it is March 3. How can you not provide any help on the weekend. Agent states I can send an email. I have already sent several emails with no success. This company SUCKS!

Buy Crash gives the officers the luxury of sitting in their comfy chairs typing the report at their leisure. It adds 1-2 weeks delay to the claims process.
