Hi - All bikes we sell are new :)
Super easy to assemble. Most are up to 90% assembled. Check out our customer reviews page here http://www.bikesdirect.com/testimon.htm and our assembly tips page here. Eleven Year old customer Jeremy assembled his own bike and made a video http://www.bikesdirect.com/instructionhelp.htm

Both of my purchases were new in box as 90% assembled. Hint: stick with Windsor brand where possible; the only best quality brand bike that I can verify.

They are new but you have to either put the parts together or arrange for a professional to do this for you.

All the bikes that I have seen from Bikes Direct are factory-new in the original boxes. ( I have bought 3 of them)

They claim to sell new bikes however, since I never received a reply or even an autoresponse that they got any of my many email inquiries, I have no evidence of that claim.

I want to order the Fuji SunFire. Will the bike have all Fuji specified original parts and not cheaper less quality parts? I'm looking for a full suspension 27.5 - carbon or TI. I haven't seen either on your site. Please advise. Note I have purchased two bikes from you. How to search your entire site for particular bicycles? Ctrl-F just searches a page NG How to do a search on your site for particular bicycles? I don't see a search box for your entire site. Ctrl-F just searches a particular page. NG looking at the Fuji Sunfire 2.0 list $599 (compare at $1400) I've seen the 2.0 cheaper at my LBS. Is this a different 2.0? $1400? to high! I'm hearing from my LBS, that the Top end Mountain Bikes, have a recent history of frames breaking and welds coming apart...Any truth to this? I'm keeping word from my LBD that the Mountain bikes frames have a history of breaking and wields coming apart. Anyone have any proof of this? I bought a Gravity 29er hardtail with generally xt grade components. First bike the rear wheel rode closer to frame on the non drive side. Sent first bike back and got another slightly different Gravity 29er hardtail a little bit of upgrade on rims and shock. Bike #2 has the exact same problem. It is not dishing or truing of the rim. When I put a 2.2 tire on there is only 1/8" clearance from tire to frame on non drive side and if wheel looses true at all it will rub. I think that if I get two bikes with the same problem that there must be an manufacturer defect that wasn't caught. I have ask Larry at bike direct if there is a defect with this bike and have received no answer. I do like Larry though and he has been very helpful, but I want an answer. Anyone had same problem? my wife inseam is 27inches The bike size is 15 or 17. I assume it would be 15ladies.???? The math seems funny when you say you have sold more than 100,000 cycles in 15 years and also say that you have sold thousands per week. If you were selling 2,000 cycles a week you would have 100,000 cycles sold per year?
