It is a complete scam. You are bidding against computers but not peoples. Nobody wins anything but only losses the money in buying more bids.

I spent 13 hours bidding on an article that was suppose to take 7 hours according to the rules of this site. The bidding is till going on and God knows when it will finish. They take everything from you and have no rules or consideration for other people. Stay way!
Hs no one noticed that the same people are placing the same bids, on the same items, at the same time on the bidfun UK site, and bidfun US site? How can this be possible unless it is one central system, with its own "bidders".
How can this site be legal?
It is obvious that it is not people (maybe a few) but a computer that you are "bidding" against.
This stinks.
I had a look at this site early this morning as I was looking to buy an XBox 360 Elite. Site promises up to 90% reduction on high street prices.
*** DO NOT be fooled by the advertising. ***
The way the site works is: You buy bidding credits (£10.00 for 20 bids). Each time you bid, 1 credit is used (50 pence) & the price goes up by 1 pence. Also, the auction end time has 20 seconds added to it.
Now, I've been watching this site for 12 hours & noticed that as an auction nears completion, other bids are made. There are many SUSPECT bidders who SEEM to bid on anything. Also, everytime a bid is made, the auction prices goes up 1 pence but BidFun get 50p per bid. Let me explain: say for instance you WIN an auction for £20.00. This means 2000 bids = BidFun get £1000 + the £20.00 sell price. Now if it took you 50 bids to win, you actually bid £25.00 (aklso, there are 1950 bid LOSERS. The chances of you winning are very veryu small & you could quite easily bid much money & never win.
This is a very very intelligent site. Luckily. I googled it & read the threads here before I bought credits. I have now deleted my account.
Let me finish by saying: It is POSSIBLE to win & get items cheaply. But it is highly UNLIKELY. There do sem to be bidding ROBOTS that bump up the prices ie: I have noticed 3 NAMES that constantly bid automatically around the clock (so far). A REAL person would not do this or spend so much.
Thanks SiteJabber for showing me this info...
I got totally ripped. I spent alot of money over a period of a couple of days and suddenly realised that this was a scam. Firstly I checked this website and read the review and them compared the bidfun nz to the bidfun uk and found the same users ie. Donnaoneill, TITANIK, padcom etc etc are on both sites and the auctions are the same sites but in NZ$ and UKpounds. I don't get this at all, it spells total fraud to me and PAYPAL who I have trusted for years need to get this sorted. Without their link I would never have gone onto this site. DAMMIT. My advice is BEWARE. You bid heaps, spend heaps and get nothing. VICKY NZ
