Spring cleaning and found my well loved polka dot dress is getting tight. It's been worn and hand washed 6-7 times and still looks so good. DCO but stood up to hand washing. Will keep for another season if I can fit into it. Zipper still in good shape and seams all in good shape. Great purchase.

Purchased 4 dress that I needed for an upcoming event. Got them and 2 out of the 4 worked but would need alterations. Took them to for an alteration estimate and the alterations would cost more than the dresses. Went online to return the dresses and they charge you for your return and a restocking fee of $9.95 for the first item and an additional $5 for each item after that. Straight robbery! Absolutely out of this world! I will NOT be shopping there ever again! Please google the dress you want and find it at a local department store and do not buy it from the online site.

I purchased a AP dress for my son's wedding and the quality was wonderful, even classier in person. I'm a size 8 and the dress fit perfect. Needed cups added, but that was the only alterations. Guests raved over this dress. I would definitely purchase this brand again.

I purchased a sequined dress for a special occasion which cost £290. I loved the dress but on the first wear a lot of sequins fell off. I wore it again a few weeks later to a party and more sequins plus many of the beads which formed the stripes in the dress fell off - the dress looks awful and tatty now but customer services say that it was fine when they sent it to me so the only thing they can do is to send me some sequins for me to sew back on! Really poor quality and dreadful customer service! I will not purchase from them again and do not recommend this company at all!

Short answers, no explanations, no empathy for my problem. Ended up buying a gorgeous dress somewhere else instead of buying two from them. Their loss. Very unusual rude treatment of customers for the USA.

Ordered and received three dresses from Adrianna Papell. Disappointed as sizing was off and dresses were scratchy. Returned all dresses the very next day via FEDEX to address provided. Was only given credit for two dresses. It's been six weeks and I've spoken with customer service three times, every time telling me credit will be processed. Each time I received an automatic email saying I would get store credit. Emailed three times and was told it would be corrected in 2 to 3 business days. Six weeks later I have filed a claim with my credit card company to dispute charges. Can't believe it's been such a hassle. Never had any issues with Dillard's, Nordstrom's or Macy's.

Tip for consumers:
Reviews items or orders for details. They won't give credit if an item is on sale.

I bought a beautiful dress in 2 sizes. I wasnt sure which size I would need. The dress was beautiful and I couldn't have been happier. HOWEVER, sending the dress back that I did not need has been an enormous pain. I sent the dress back In July 20th. It arrived back to them on July 22. I included everything they asked me to do. It's July 30th and I get automated responses or misinformation. I am about to just have my credit card handle it. So irritating, especially since I love the dress.

Hi there
I am in Australia and apart from a glitch in communications with Adrianna Papell on-line, this is a great site.
My dress is even better than I'd hoped and fits perfectly.
A really, really great experience.
Delivery was pretty slow though so don't order and hope for a quick arrival.
Mind you, as I said, I am in Australia and the order took about 3.5 weeks to arrive.
Very happy with my purchase.

The customer service was excellent in my last order experience. My original order got some issues. I contacted the customer service, by phones and emails. They responded and took actions very quick. The customer representives exactly understood the issues I was encountering and took the right actions right away to resolve them. I am happy with the customer service though.

Although their clothing is beautiful, do not buy it from them on-line. They take forever to ship you your order (even though they charge you immediately) and they take forever to refund your money.

1) I placed my order on 9/5/21 (paid for the dress AND shipping!)
2) My credit card was charged on 9/5/21
3) I received an email on 9/6/21 that my order had shipped and the tracking number was provided
4) I kept checking FedEx and it showed that the package had not been given to them.
5) I emailed on 9/11/21 to cancel the order and was told that I couldn't, but could return it and my shipping would be waived.
6) Per FedEx, the order finally shipped on 9/21/21 (10 days after I was told that it was too late to cancel)
7) I received the package on 9/25/21 and immediately took it to FedEx to return it
8) It was confirmed received on 10/4/21 and indicated that it would take up to 15 business days to issue my refund

I called on 10/25/21 and was told that someone would check into it and get back to me. L have not heard from them. I will be calling Amex to dispute the charges.

I will never again order anything from this ripoff of a company! They not only charge you shipping of $9.95 they also charge you $9.95 return shipping and then to top it off after they recieved my return they tell you it will be 15 days before you get your credit! I paid you the same day I ordered WHY would I have to wait 15 days for my credit! This company is a total ripoff. The dresses are cheaply made and not worth the money. If I had seen these reviews before ordering I never would have! Please don't order from this company I'd shop elsewhere

I bought a size 8 gown in June 2001 for my daughters upcoming wedding. Realizing in September that I would probably need a 10, but it wasn't available on the website, I ordered a 12 to have it altered. I sent back the 8 (which was outside of the 30 day exchange window) but requested they use my in-store credit and apply it to the new size I wanted to keep. They would not refund my latest purchase, apply the funds from my June 2001 purchase without me returning both dresses. I emailed and called several times and they were basically asking me to pay double the price for the dress unless I returned it. Now, I have my in-store credit, but the size 12 is not available for purchase. I LOVED THIS DRESS and so did my daughter. Now I am stuck with $300+ credit, and no dress. All they had to do was apply the in-store credit without me returning the dress. I'm so upset. I personally will never shop here again or buy this brand due to this truly disappointing exchange with them.

purchased a mother of the bride for my daughter's wedding. Disappointing that they made me return the dress I loved to get my in-store credit applied. Now the dress is not listed on their website and I'm stuck with $300+ in credit for a store I will never shop at again.

I love Adrianna Papell dresses. I wore one for my daughters wedding and I found several others I really like. BUT Never order directly from them. Order from Nordstrom or any other store who carries them.
I had found a dress I thought I loved for a special event, ordered it but after careful consideration I decided to return it. First of all do it quickly - you only have 30 days. Then when you ship it back for $6.95 you will never hear from anyone again. I got confirmation from FEDEX that it was received so I tried to follow up on my refund. Multiple phone calls were not even answered. Emails were not responded to. Finally I found another email to contact someone who wasn't even related to returns. She got involved and I got my refund. It took almost two weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. If I ever buy another Adrianna Papell dress it will not be from their website.

I found a dress I liked to wear as a bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding. Was sent a shipment notification 3 days later. Several days pass and the FedEx tracking still says "pending" and they had not received the dress. I email customer service to ask when it will ship. I needed to know if it would arrive in time for me to have alterations done because they have such a poor selection of petite sizes. No response. Over the next week I sent 3 more emails because it still had not shipped. Still no response. I finally disputed the payment through PayPal and that got their attention. I was told they were looking into it and it would ship in a couple days. It's now been 2 weeks since it supposedly "shipped" and I get a refund. I believe they take your money for items they don't have and send a shipment notification to make it appear they sent it. This is straight up fraud. And no one will respond to answer your emails. Avoid this shady company.

I absolutely Love your dresses. My last three weddings, I wore your dresses and have had so many compliments. I only purchase your brand for cocktail and formal dresses

Tip for consumers:
You won’t be disappointed. Dresses run a bit snug but so do most formal dresses.

I recently bought a beautiful off the shoulders black jumpsuit. I live in Canada and I received it within 2 weeks. I should have bought a size smaller from a 12 to a 10 but the length is perfect for me at 5'10". I am just adding a rhinestone belt to make it smaller on the waist. Quality is magnificent. Last week I saw a polkadot jumpsuit on sale final sale. Got it a week later... Again magnificent quality and fit is superb. Can't wait to wear these to 3 weddings this summer. Online shopping can be scary, but adrianna papell's merchandise is top quality! This is my new go to website for beautiful garments!

Beautiful dresses, but horrible, horrible, ghost customer service!
I ordered 2 dresses last July for a early August wedding and after reading the return policies thought no problem if they didn't work, I could return them for a refund within the 30 day mark.
The one dress I really wanted came damaged with a huge black spot on the largest white flower in the print. I sent it back within the time frame and requested a REFUND. I called and emailed customer service before I mailed it back at least 3 times before I sent it back to be sure I did so in the correct manner to get a credit card refund. They were impossible to get a true response, I just got an automated email.
I did get a response to an inquiry a month after I returned the dress that I would be hearing about my refund or Papell credit. I quickly emailed back NO Papell credit, I wanted a refund via my credit card. Now, today, I get an email with a Papell credit. I do not wear dresses and my special event was months ago. Do Not Buy from this website! They send damaged goods, and if you send back the damaged dress, they will not refund the purchase as they promise but take 5-6 weeks to send you back a credit to receive more damaged dresses. Dillards would of honored the return and credited back my credit card. Stay away!

Tip for consumers:
Avoid this site. Buy from reputable retailers. They send out damaged dresses and then won't give refund.

Supposed to be full refund, but they wait 6 weeks and send a Papell credit instead although I asked for a full refund back to my credit card company.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to give my two cents after I read so many bad reviews of this website. Based on my experience I found the website easy to navigate, with a large selection of quality dresses at a reasonable price. I ordered 3 dresses to try on for my daughter's wedding (free shipping!). I received 3 dresses within a week of ordering. Unfortunately, they sent me 2 of the same dresses and one that I ordered was missing. After a phone call to AP, they sent me a no-cost return label for the duplicate dress. Once I had a Fed Ex tracking number for that return, I called them and they over-nighted the dress that I did not receive. During every phone call, the representative was courteous and assisted with my problem. They have a 30-day (from date of order delivery date) full refund policy which make sit easy to try on multiple dresses and return the unwanted dresses. I would definitely recommend this website.

I bought the Off the Shoulder Floral Sequin Dress and after one wear, the majority of beads came off - the dress is now a "one time use" disposable piece unfortunately. After back and forth with customer service where they initially led me on to think they would fix the dress or cover the costs to fix, they quickly backed away and are offering ZERO compensation here. Keep in mind this is after weeks of communication with customer service where they had me get estimates from tailors on repair costs and such. Ultimately, I end up with no replacement, no fixes, no discount/refund, etc. For a $350 purchase, I find the quality and customer service to be not acceptable.

Outstanding customer service and personal service. Kudos to Peter who made it happen for me. The shawl I purchased is absolutely beautiful, I was desperate to receive it the very next day, which was a Friday. According to the representative, items purchased after 1 PM go on next days delivery, so it would not have been delivered until Monday. As they don't deliver on weekends. Being sensitive to my concern, I was shocked to see it in my driveway the very next day. Peter made a special effort to get it out on Thursdays delivery. The scarf is beautiful, and I wore it on the weekend and received several compliments. I read all these negative reviews and I'm shocked. I received a completely opposite customer service experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone!

This company does not stand by its product! I ordered my dress from here and 8 bridesmaid dresses. ALL of them had beads falling off. Full strands even before the ceremony. When I reached out to them they said that they gave a bag of beads with the gowns. Are you kidding me? The day of my daughters wedding before the wedding I am supposed to so on beads. They offered me 10% off my next purchase. I would never order from them again. Customer service is rude! And try to write a review on their page, the send an email to you saying that they will not post your reviews.
