Ally is likely the worst banking organization in the US. I am shocked that they are allowed to operate.

Try to send out a wire for over $100k? Other than an acknowledgment of wire request submission, crickets; nothing. I had to call Ally to inquire about the wire transfer status only to find out that it is subject to additional review. Why? They could not tell me.

ALLY - THIS IS MY MONEY YOU ARE HOLDING HOSTAGE WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION!

I would give them ZERO STARS if I could.

******* - If you mention the first 30 days are exclusionary why not mention that days 31-61 have a limitation of coverage.

"Forgetting" to share a key piece of their policy is still a LIE!

I never received their contract and was not directed to it before purchasing the policy. That one is on me for not making sure that I read the fine print before signing the dotted line. I should have known that these people are as greedy as all other Insurance companies out there.

My advice is to go somewhere else for your policy as this company is as unethical as their key competitors. They are all a scam. The funny thing is that i came to them because they were supposed to be the better choice than the company i left.

To say that i am disappointed would be a severe understatement.

UPDATE:
******* - After seeing their response to my critique, in early October, I requested that they provide me with any type of support for their claims of my acknowledgement and to also provide me with a recording of my initial call they referenced. Take a guess what happened? Absolutely nothing.

IMHO, these people are still a sad excuse for a Home Insurance company.

These are time-stamped as received 8/17/2020 9:44 AM, you also confirmed that you received these and read them when speaking to our agent on a recorded line.
Terms of service are sent once the agreement is made along with your Declaration page specific to you and confirming the sale. If you wish to view these terms prior to purchase, you may do so on our website or request them to be sent directly to you via your personal account manager. During this review time, we ask that you look at your coverage and if you have any questions you may call or email your account manager directly.
The initial limitation is to protect against any persons who may be purchasing the coverage with the intent of getting an item covered which already failed prior to having an active membership, this would also be deemed as fraud. This also protects the interest of our current members to ensure their coverage will never be denied for pre-existing conditions as that limit is placed only for new members and not renewing members.
We are confident that you can understand these caveats and hopefully, this helps to answer any concerns you may have on what the Home Warranty Product is. Please be aware as we are rated top in the industry for our services to our members, but we do understand your frustrations, once again this is simply a layer of protection for our members.

AliExpress' issue resolution is a joke. The seller shipped a wrong item. AliExpress marked issue as resolved (on their own without my input and they expect me to pay for return shipping? I will never purchase through their site again.

I wish i could give them zero stars.

First, this company charges $50 admin fee to cancel a contract. WHAT? Just like a lot of other insurance companies they hide behind the fact that it is stated so in the contract booklet. Guess what, my car insurance company does not change me to terminate my contract. Maybe these geniuses are so confident in their superior service that they need to make money when customers request a cancellation. Hmmm, a brilliant, but very telling move. Also, I requested a cancellation 3-4 months ago and assumed it was handled however, the CSR was obviously not on the ball and failed to mention that I could only cancel via email, fax or paper letter (plus the $50 cancellation fee of course). Shame on me for not reviewing my VISA card statement more diligently.

Second, as we live in a higher end home, every service request required multiple contractors to come out in order to say they could not handle the work and we'd be back to square one. On numerous occasions we requested FAHW never to send certain contractors without any results. We finally instructed our gate guards not to let certain contractors in, if they were coming to our address. On the average (and i am ball parking the results) the lapse time from filing the request until resolution was two to three weeks. Furthermore, approximately 25% - 30% of service request were denied. Again, shame on me for paying for something and not reading the fine print.

My advice is to stay away from this outfit. If you are stuck with them at least spend the time upfront and read the fine print.

Pathetic is how i would describe them.

If it were possible I would have given them ZERO stars.

10+ years ago I built my home and used EMTEK's Durango bronze levers (interior and exterior door handles) throughout. SeveraI of them started BREAKING. In today's world does anyone expect that a door handle that costs $130 - $150 per set (I bought dozens) should last less than say 25 to 30 years? I certainly do not.

So, I called EMTEK's customer service because on their website it states that they provide a Limited Lifetime warranty. The CSR told me that the Limited Lifetime warranty only applies to products purchased since April 2012. Anything purchased prior to April of 2012 had only a 5 year warranty. When I asked them to provide me with that warranty they declined saying that it was my responsibility to keep the warranty slip that came with the product.

EMTEK's solution was for me to buy their replacement product. RIGHT! I am just about to spend more money on a product that does not last and that is produced by a company that does not stand behind their products.

The bottom line is that EMTEK does not stand behind their product and their product is CRAP.

STAY AWAY FROM EMTEK PRODUCTS!

I'd give them a rating of no stars if it were available. THIS COMPANY SUCKS! They collect your banking and your Credit Card information allow you to start your purchases then you get an email saying that the transactions was deemed high risk and thus it was canceled. When I asked for my confidential information to be deleted from their database they said to close my account. I hope these brainiacs recognize that they will be liable if anything happens to my bank account and my credit card information). Simply put they should not be allowed to operate. COINBASE SUCKS!
