Woot looks like a solid and reputable company from the outside, but that's not the case. Asides from selling items manufacturers write off as refurburish products, you're lead to believe warranties are still honoured. Nope! And when you contact Woot regarding issues, you get misguided or ignored (depending on what mood they're in). 4 months ago I purchased an HP Envy 15 AMD Quadcore laptop with many "bright" dead pixels. Woot failed to offer any assistance, so I pawned it and took a lost.
Tip for consumers:
Buy Woot products through Amazon.com. At least Amazon will work with you on returns or issues with your purchase. Thank you Amazon.com!
