I was initially so excited to find this site, as I was looking to buy some cute lingerie for my honeymoon. I purchased an item and got a discount for it being my first purchase! However. I was then emailed and informed that I was part of the "VIP Status" program, where, if I don't cancel within 30 days, my card will be charged $39.95 of store credit monthly that expires within 12 months. Supposedly this was "made clear" twice during checkout. NO, it was NOT made clear. Calls and emails to customer service have so far been unfruitful. I was told that the manager was too busy to speak to me. Apparently they don't allow you to cancel your order or to cancel your membership until after your first order has been delivered. THIS IS A SCAM. This is a BAD way to do business and I will NOT be recommending this company to Anyone I know, EVER.

The VIP Membership is one of two payment options you select during checkout with your first order (the other is Pay As You Go, our one-time purchase option). The terms and conditions of membership are not only stated during checkout, but also in the membership confirmation email, in the reminder emails before the fifth and in numerous locations on the site. Members are not obligated to order each month, instead, they visit the site between the first and fifth and decide to either shop or skip that month.
If you do not take action between the first and the fifth, you’ll see a $39.95 charge on the card. This amount turns to store credit you can use at any time within 12 months! We send reminder emails, but also offer a no-questions-asked 30 day refund policy for your convenience, here: http://askadoreme.com.
