So I previously wrote a review basically saying that I just placed a order before reading the reviews for about $200.00 (oops) and I was very concerned. I live in Canada and my items came at an average time of maybe 2 weeks in 2 separate shipments, which was fine. I also received an email that some of my items were extremely back ordered and I can choose to wait for then to come in, reselect, or get my money back so I chose to get my money back based on the idea of "I'll never be able to wear this stuff anyways!''. I did receive my money back on the mastercard statement of the correct amount so that was great, I also appreciate that they informed me of these items being delayed instead of making me wait around worrying.
Ok so I got my items and what I noticed was that RoseGal is a company based in Asia somewhere and they find pictures online of product by someone else and try to recreate it. They don't post the image online of their recreation, they post the original photo from whatever website they found. That is wrong to do, false advertising and probably against some laws of fraud. This applied to every single item I ordered, the shirts and sweaters and toques where it was sewn together or knitted by someone trying to copy an image. I understand most things are made in China including the stolen images of clothing posted on their website however this is literally a group of seamstresses who just try to recreate clothes. If you remember back in high school sewing class where our teacher gave us this outline and we tried to make a great pair of pj pants or pillow, it never ever turned out like the picture. Even the teachers example copy. That's what this is like.
I will not ever wear these items because they are not fit to an actual person and they don't have a fit model trying the sizes on before selling the product. They are small fits even though I ordered a size bigger than I am but that is simply because they probably have a outline that says "make this however many inches, this however many inches" etc. It's not realistic. I did get scammed and so did everyone else, but that's why they say " buyers beware " no point escalating the situation to court because it's a waste of more of your money. Hopefully before you order you read the reviews, and if you didn't and now are freaking out over the money you wasted on poor product then I guess just accept the fact you probably put food on the table for a poor family in a Asian country, a donation you don't get a tax receipt for.
