Ordered around $500 motorized bike+engine kit for special BD gift. The 1st shipment of the order (bike) came all damaged and scratched, as if it was used already. I contacted customer service right away hoping for quick resolution, but instead I was advised that I would have to cover return shipping cost in order for them to ship a new bike. That didn't seem to be fair to me, so after not agreeing with that I was explained that damage occurs very often shipping large items and that scratches do not affect functionality of the item, so the best they can do - issue $40 store credit and let me keep damaged/scratched bike. Oh, and I also purchased Navidium Shipping Protection, but according to Bike Berry, that still doesn't cover return shipping expenses! Unprofessionalism and ignorance at it's finest! It even makes me wonder if they are not scammers?! So as a customer I was wrong to expect to receive a new/undamaged item after I paid for a new item? And for my "naive expectations" I should be punished by covering return shipping costs and pray that it doesn't again and again... Oh, and someone's special BD will be ruined too now... Beyond disappointed and frustrated...
