Costco is okay if you happen to live near one. I think they should base membership Prices on Zip Code. Specifically, if you more than 40 miles away, they should give you a membership at 50% off. That would bring them more Customers!

I've purchased a few Computer related items from New Egg. They "sometimes" have fair prices, but not always. They often have items that are difficult for me to find on Amazon, Tiger Direct, etc.

Bud's is great. They have lots of stuff at lower prices. The problem is "if" there is a problem. I had a delivery problem recently that was not Bud's fault. However, the nut job at Customer Service basically blew me off, and told me to track down the package on my own! Hey Customer Service, that's why I paid extra for the "extra" Insurance! Get a Clue.

You are on your own most of the time at HomeDepot. But, "sometimes" you will find an employee with a clue. Do your own research, and know what you need.

I had an account with them, but they "exited" the banking business & sent my account to another bank. Then, they invited me back to use their other services (stock trading). A simple email explaining what they were doing "would" have been nice, but I had to puzzle-out what the heck happened. Nope. I won't do business with them.

First, I've ordered from Midway since 1990. I've spent thousands at Midway. Back then, shipping was free on everything. Then, they started charging for shipping, and were no-longer the "best deal". I stayed loyal, and continued to buy from them because they ship fast, and usually have what I'm searching for. The customer service was good. However, something happened as they grew as a company. They got BIG, but something bad happened. I suspect that they have such a huge market, and they no-longer need to care about their customers. First, I had. 22LR on back-order for over a year, while they sold the exact same. 22LR on their site (for a higher price). I contacted them, but was ignored. About a year later, my back-orders were cancelled by Midway. This upset me, but. 22LR is difficult to find, and in high demand. Then, some of my orders were damaged in shipment due to poor packaging. I complained, and they gave me $5.00 in "Midway Money". I also ordered several airrifles that were clearly defective. I suspect that the airrifles were "seconds" or otherwise refurbished guns. All-in-all, Midway is NOT the best for customer service, their shipping charges are excessive, their prices are higher than Amazon, and they realy don't care anymore. If you want loyalty, get a dog. Midway no-longer get my money.

  • Auction.com

Almost every money scam is based on the victim's greed. I have not been riped off by Auction.com, but I have bid on a few homes they have listed, and I'm not happy about the way it works. It does appear to be a slippery hustle. Basically, the owner of the property (usually a lender) lists the property with Auction.com, and the owner sets a reserve price. The reserve price is not the same as the "opening bid." The reserve price is a BIG SECRET. As you bid, Auction.com also bids against you to drive-up the price to meet the "Secret Reserve Price". Auction.com will tell you this going in, and it is also explained in detail on the Better Business Bureau complaint site. Futhermore, Auction.com does not allow you to inspect the property in anyway. Perhaps they legally can't allow inspections, but they could do this right by conducting a "forced eviction" prior to listing the property for sale. You (the new buyer) can't get a loan on most of the homes listed on auction.com the banks will not loan money on them. The banks are smart enough to not give you a loan on a house you cannot inspect. Much like a casino, it appears the cards ar stacked against you, and the house will almost always take you.
