Aliexpress is basically a collection of different stores. Some good some bad. Always check the ratings, reviews and photos of the products, the app tends to have more detailed reviews than the regular website. Never spend much money, losing a couple dolars to get a bargain is ok, I ve never spent more than $50 on any store. The delivery takes forever, it comes from China so it is to be expected. 30-60 days. I've gotten dozens of products, the fastest arrived in 7 days, slowest in 3 months. If you have problems use the DISPUTE system, it works, just nees some patience.
Good experiences:
Earrings $1-8, most have been great. Make sure you check the user uploaded pictures.
Dresses $5-$15, okish, asian sizes mean M or S are XXL or XL, use measurement charts to guide you
Boots (womens) $25, got an amazing over the knee pair
Lace shirts, $3
Other good items I've gotten: electric toothbrush heads, floosers, seamless panties, hair accessories, kitchen accesories, novelty items, etc. All for less than $2 each, all good quality.
Bad experiences:
Electronics: bought some mini mp3 players and sd cards and was scammed. Sd card quality sucked.
Men's clothing: weird sizes, usually bad quality.
Sweaters and anything wool: bad quality, shed terribly.
All in all, it takes practice and patience to enjoy a bargain from this site and it is kind of like a gamble.
