If you don't mind receiving a notification that they have cancelled your reservation (even after paying), and being stuck without a car, then go ahead and book with them. We got stuck in Rome (and a crappy hotel -and the added expense) simply because they promised and didn't deliver. I will never book from them again.
I received the following message the morning I was scheduled to pick up my car:
Dear Mr...,
Your reservation for a total sum of 219.17 for Rome Airport Fiumicino, Italy has been cancelled.
If you did not request this, it may have been cancelled for a number of reasons:
1. Booked car is not available and we don't have any alternative proposal.
2. Short time prior arrival and we can not proceed with confirmation with our supplier.
3. Because Booking Group was unable to charge a deposit from your credit card and you have not logged in to change your credit card details - or something similar.
Dear Customer please Note, you are very importnant for us. Please contact us by email *******@bookinggroup.com and ask about alternative proposal.
We try hard to find solution for you.
