Is it wrong that I think LA Lakers shooting guard Sasha Vujacic's Earth Day message is really funny? http://www.vujacic.net/earth-hour/
Perhaps. But his entire website is awesome. They don't call him "the machine" for nothing.
The idea of a Q&A site is great, but I think Yahoo Answers might be misleading millions of people because so many of the answers are just plain wrong and it's impossible to tell!
I used to use the site often when I wanted to look something up, but then I ran across some questions that I knew the answer to, and the answers on Yahoo Answers were wrong. I no longer use Yahoo Answers for anything (it would be like trying to learn history by reading Dan Brown).
One thing I found rather irritating was that I spent a lot of time in the Law section (specifically Citizenship & Immigration) and 85% of the respondees would answer in accordance to US/Canadian law even though the original poster was not asking for those specific countries which was rather iritating because the laws in other countries were completely different.
It was good if you wanted a multitude of answers to your question though.
Aziz Ansari is the funniest comedian I've seen since Dave Chappelle. He's great as the racist food cart owner on Flight of the Concords and in The Human Giant. Here's his blog.
I highly recommend:

I being British had never heard of Aziz Ansari but I have to say even with my British sense of humour i found him funny, i would recommend if you like that type of humour Frankie Boyle. he is my favorite comedian, and im going to see him a a few weeks. check this site out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTF-cyYOfUc&feature=related these are his jokes that he managed to get on TV he is much worse (better is my opinion) live. For the US viewers that dont know him Richard Hammond is a Car critic that crashed a car trying to break the land speed record.
Aziz is pretty brilliant. Ever watch Flight of the Conchords? http://www.google.com/search?q=aziz+flight+of+the+conchords&hl=en&safe=off&client=gmail&rls=gm&tbs=vid:1&tbo=u&ei=KVGwS6a0M5HgswOihdHkDQ&sa=X&oi=video_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CBYQqwQwAA
Just got a chance to watch the Frankie Boyle bit, and I'm into it. Would love to see him [even more] unsensored.
This site has some sweet canceled shows including the always awesome, Yacht Rock. Want to watch Hall and Oats pick a fight or Michael McDonald write "I'm a fool to believe"? Look no further.

I'm a huge golfer, and I've found my membership in the Northern California Golf Association to be well worth it. If you just play Poppy Hills or Poppy Ridge once you basically make up the cost of the membership fee. I love it.
I mostly agree with Frank. Depending on where you live, GolfNow's discounted tee times are sort of skimpy, and I feel like I get better deals from my local golf association. You can find your local golf association here:

Got to credit LilRebel for inspiring me to review this, but man I love Urban Dictionary. When I was 12 I would have loved nothing more than looking up dirty slang words to impress my friends. Who I am kidding, I still do, which is why I sign up for the Urban Dictionary word of the day. So the next time your a girl wants to "DTR" you'll be prepared http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=DTR&defid=53513
If you want to read about the latest developments in science and technology there is no better place online than the MIT Technology Review. Only the nerds of MIT could bring you such an indespensible resource. Please be aware that I say "nerds" with the greatest of admiration.
This site looks like a legit "scam" blog but if you take a closer look it looks to just to be another scam itself. They are trying to make people sign up for their own work at home scam: http://www.ivetriedthat.com/our-top-recommendation-the-wealthy-affiliate/
Don't fall for it.
Well, that's not a very fair and balanced report. Yes, they have their own program that they sell, but it is far from being a scam. Nearly everything, every bit of advice and information in the package, is free and accessible somewhere on tier site. I have been reading and subscribing to the ivetriedthat.com site and newsletter for years now. I like it for the advice and scam reporting. However, I do not currently use any of their products; but I am thinking about it. I have contributed some article ideas and forwarded many potential scams and phishing sites and emails, and always getting an intelligent, prompt and thorough reply form them. I have seen no evidence that these guys and their site are scamming people. They do a great job and don't deserve the unfounded review you've posted. My question is; Why would you say such a thing without expanding on the information that contributed to your conclusion? What evidence do you have other than that they also sell a 'Work-at-Home' system?
If you live in China or another country that blocks internet sites, Hotspot Shield is worth a try. You have to sit through ads, but it's worth it to check YouTube and Facebook in China.
Offensive is the only way I can describe The Human Giant. But if you can get past that, you will enjoy such greats as the Will Arnett Sex Tape and Osama Bin Diesel. Enjoy!

A search engine that organizes search results for you - Google is so late 90s. It just gives you a big list of websites which can be a big pain in the ass to sort through to find what you're looking for. <a href="http://kosmix.com" target="_blank">Kosmix</a> is much cooler. It takes your search term and organizes the results for you into videos, forum posts, yahoo answers, related topics, and a bunch of other cool stuff.
The one negative of Kosmix is that it is not yet good for everything. Some topics like health I find to be very useful. But for other random information it doesn't work as well. For example if you type in someone's address all you get is a Google search. But if you do that in Google you get Google Local results which inlcude a map and reviews of the location if it's a business.
So for quick searches I still use Google. But if I want more in-depth information, I use Kosmix.
All your friends from all your social networks in one place - I've been waiting for someone to do this, so I'm glad Power.com did. I want to be able to go to one place that I can keep track of all my friends from all my social networks. Power.com isn't bad - my only complaint is that I would like it to include LinkedIn.com too.
MTV brings back plain old music videos - I remember when back in the day MTV would actually play cheesy music videos all day long (120 minutes, anyone?). Now you can experience cheesy (and not so cheesy) videos again. Not just from back in the day, but also from Kanye, Brittney and more lame artists you love to hate. Check it out: <a href="http://www.mtvmusic.com/" target="_blank">http://www.mtvmusic.com/</a>
i remember the days when MTV played good and pop music, used to have a rock chart with undergound music, not just pop rock. back in the day it was MTV that got me into Sublime, Cypress Hill etc, although I did love Bevis and Butthead, and the Head,
The Head! I had forgotten all about it. I just found an episode which is sort of awesome: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5237006428570485886#
Imeem makes you log in to access a very mediocre music site - Sometimes I just want to hear a song that I don't have an MP3 of. So I Google it. I get lots of crap, lyrics, spam, etc. But I usually get a link from Imeem promising free music. So I get all excited and click on it. But what do I get? A pop up window telling me to register. I don't want to register. I just want my song. But just to see if it was any good, one time, I did register. And the site sucks! They don't have that many full legth songs, and I don't see why I would use it over <a href="http://favtape.com" target="_blank">Favtape</a> (the best for listening to music) or <a href="http://pandora.com" target="_blank">Pandora</a> (the best for discovery).
Stay away from Imeem.
Amy Walter is really hot - I like reading Amy Walter's election column <a href="http://www.nationaljournal.com/njonline/onthetrail.php" target="_blank">On The Trail</a>. But I just saw her on the <a href="http://www.pbs.org/newshour/" target="_blank">News Hour</a> and she is really hot! Anyone know anything about her? I couldn't find much online....

US Government's website, actually pretty good - When I think of the US government's website I think of slowly-loading, convoluted pages filled with links to text filled documents and pdf files. And certainly, there is still some of that. But I have to say, when playing with the website the other day, I was pretty impressed. It's easy to use and fast.
Some interesting links on <a href="http://www.usa.gov/Citizen/Topics/Education_Training/Finding_Jobs.shtml" target="_blank">finding a job</a>, also the always-fascinating <a href="http://www.secretservice.gov/" target="_blank">secret service</a>, and the all-important <a href="http://www.usa.gov/About/FEDINFO.shtml" target="_blank">Federal Government contact us page</a>. All in all, I must say, I like our government's website.
Honestly, Megan Ewing is the hottest girl I can imagine - I first saw her in Lenny Kravitz's <a title="LennyKravitzBelieveinMe" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5CpFs0G5Ow" target="_blank">"Believe in Me" video</a> where I thought she was the hottest girl I had ever seen. I later confirmed this through some internet "research." Amazingly, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megan_Ewing" target="_blank">this girl is from Texas</a> and is of Mexican and German decent. She is also a <a href="http://www.guessadvertising.com/graphics/Bios/ewing.html" target="_blank">Guess model.</a>
Check her out:

Plaxo is totally useless and spams me all the time - Back in 2001-2002, Plaxo seemed like a great way to keep your address book current. But today, Plaxo is completely useless. I use Facebook and Linkedin, which do a better job of helping me keep track of people. All Plaxo does is spam me with emails every day. I can't believe Comcast bought them.
