I have been buying stuff from Harbor Freight for years, but after my last experience, which still hasn't ended, I am officially done. Finito. The end. I purchased 3 of their solar lights that would have been exactly what I needed if they'd worked. 2 out of 3 that were sent me were defective. Right, that's 66%. To top it off, unlike Ebay and other e-commerce sites, they don't send you a return label you can print from your computer. Instead, you have to WAIT for WEEKS till they snail mail you a label, which I still haven't received, and THEN they claim they will refund your money. Folks, don't be fooled by the cheap prices for junk that is made overseas (you know where) that breaks right after you open the package. You get what you pay for. AND it's not easy to get your money back.

Worst return policy on the entire internet. Caveat Emptor. You are only allowed to return a defective item. In other words, if they send you something that is a piece of garbage, not worth what you paid for it, you are not allowed to return it. Woot is a 3rd party seller on Amazon (apparently) so they make it seem like you're doing business with the Big A. Which is not the case! I am no in the process of trying to return something & have had to involve Amazon to get any satisfaction at all. As of now, I don't know if I can get my money back. I told Amazon they should ditch Woot as they are not up to their usual high standards of customer service. Woot came to me through what looked like an email from Amazon and that is where the relationship ended. Buyers should know that you are NOT covered by Amazon's guarantees even though you can reach Woot by signing up with your A. Account- you don't even have to set up an account with Woot. In my opinion, this is false and misleading at the very least. I will post some more after this problem is resolved. Unless you want to take a chance getting stuck with a product you might not like, be very careful of this site. I am actually shocked that they are still allowed to do this.

I can't say enough good things about ThredUp and recommend it highly to anyone who loves clothes as much as I do. I'm not sure how I originally came to find out about the site, but it has become my go to place, especially when it comes to finding extra special dresses or other items for myself and my grand daughters. Everything I've purchased has been new, nearly new and of the highest quality. The prices are all at least 60% off and I've gotten some spectacular things that were 80% off of original retail. Shopping is a breeze and shipping is fast. ThredUp is so great, I almost didn't write this review as I want to keep it for myself!
