I am editing my review of this site. In my other review, I have stated that I was surprised by the bad reviews and that I had a decent experience with the site. I have also stated that I am not happy with how they were doing others that sign up for the site (Not getting PIN, etc). Well, they have scammed me in a way that is worse than scams typically are.

Just recently, I have done a task which was supposed to be $12 where I play this "game" where I evaluate potential workers. The task said that I was supposed to get a Vcode at the end. The task takes at least 20 minutes. Well, I made it to the end and...no Vcode, instead it just redirects straight to some other site "Pro...something". I report the task to support and what do they do?, They actually take money out of my account, putting it into the negative. So let me get this straight, I do a job and I not only don't get paid, but get money taken from me? So Long, Thieves.

I signed up for ySense, and my experience was decent while it lasted. They did not pay immediately upon request, but they did pay. It usually paid within a day, sometimes two. The survey opportunities were decent. They paid out at a reasonable rate. There were no unusually high decline rates (see PrizeRebel). YSense had a lot of earning opportunities, and they were legitimate. I could make a decent amount of money on ySense. That is, until they closed my account. That was a bummer. Likely my fault. I'm pretty sure I made a mistake on one of the surveys that tripped the red flags. As a result, I get the message when I log in that my account has been permanently closed. Oh well, it was a good run.

Overall, I recommend the site. Just BE mindful and make sure that you are paying attention.

This is not Ysense. This is a review for ClixSense and we went out of business years ago. Get it straight!

I will say this, Earnably did have the overall feel of a scam site. Something in the site screams scammer to me. However, I had an account for at least a year or so. They were reliable. They did pay me when I cashed out. If I remember correctly, their cashout threshold was low for my account. There were times when the payout wouldn't arrive for a few days. But it did arrive. One day, my favorite offerwall, peanut labs has suspended my account. A few weeks later, I try to log into my account and they closed my account. It didn't matter to me because the only offerwall that was making any money for me has banned me because of suspicion. I don't know if it was legit or bogus. Didn't care.

But I am hearing worse stories from other people and that is why I lower the score to a one star.

This site is easy enough to join. However, there are quite a few sketchy, scammy things about this site. One thing is that almost every time you choose a survey, it turns around and says that it detects bot activity. UNLESS, you choose the survey that it assigns to you. Now, the surveys are actually pretty short so while they are offering a very small amount each surveys (after calculating the points, I know some sites like to be funny with their point system to make you think you are actually earning more than you are which I guess to attract you), they do add up. I finally got to the point where I can cash out... but, turns out they were dishonest about one of their cash out options.

They say to connect your account to PayPal...only thing is there is no way to do it. They talk about clicking on the button to connect your account. There is no button. There is not even a hidden link. I figured maybe the link or button will appear once you have gained the amount required for cash out. No.

So basically, they actually do not offer PayPal, they just said that to attract users. The only way to redeem your rewards is by using one of the gift cards they offer, and that is assuming that they are going to give you the gift cards they say they offer. They might pull a scammer on you with that as well.

Avoid this site. They are a bunch of lying scammers. They want to rob you of your time and take the money YOU earn from surveys and put it in their pockets.

They ban you for no apparent reason. When I found tasks that I can do and started making money off of the tasks. That is when they closed my account. These guys are crooked and scammers. The worst thing about that is that they are the only ones (yes, I've searched up and down the internet) that has a wide range of tasks. All of the other tasks sites either have way too few tasks or the tasks are just out right scammy in that they do not intend to ever pay you. MTurk has all of the tasks that will pay you as well as those that won't and if you find the right types of tasks for you, they WILL BAN you.

A lot of the posters who seemed to be in good standing with the forum and the community are suddenly "Not a member". I mean those people were in good standing last time I checked. Now, I got some unfair infractions because of a moderator who had/has it out for me. She decided to twist something I said and falsely accuse me. I thought I'd be one of those that are "not a member". After all, a lot of the other posters were quite irritated and tired of me...

It sure does seem like the City-Data of today is a lot different from City-Data of 10 or so years ago.

  • PrizeRebel

When I have first tried PrizeRebel, I did notice that it has tiers or levels of earning. It's been a while so I don't remember all of the perks of each level. I made it to Diamond (IIRC). One of the perks is that they pay out immediately.

My initial experience with PrizeRebel is that the decline rate is a bit higher than the other survey sites I've signed onto at the time. I would decline around 10 or so surveys before getting a successful one...no matter what I did. A lot of times, the survey is an automatic immediate rejection...which is not the worst. Much better than spending at least 30 minutes on what was supposed to be a 5-10 minute survey only to get declined with a bogus, dishonest excuse. Although that does happen from time to time, with every survey site. So that is more with the business that is offering the survey itself (which is pretty shady).

When it comes to payouts, I found them to be mostly reliable. At first, when I was at a lower level, I had to wait at least 24 hours to get paid. Then as I leveled up, the wait time for payouts to complete decreases. I'm at diamond level and the payouts complete within hour of request. On average it takes anywhere from a few seconds to an hour. On rare cases, there would be a message saying that they suspect something with your network so they will delay your payments for a day.

One day, my payout just doesn't come. I don't know why because there was no statement saying anything. A day passes, nothing. Another day, nothing. Meanwhile, I am reading reviews about people who have went through something similar with PrizeRebel. They say that their accounts got banned after waiting a while for their payments that should have been processed. This infuriated me.

I went and contacted them and gave them a rather scathing and threatening message. I called them out on how they did other (ex)members of the site. Shortly after that, my payout was "declined" (see fixed), and the amount was put back into my account. I requested payout some time later and actually got the money. I haven't used them since because I feel bad to this day on how I went off on them. So as far as I can tell, they are okay.

  • iPoll

This site used to pay, but they went crooked. I know they no longer pay because I used to do surveys for sites with similar layouts to this. These sites are part of the same group that iPoll is. In fact, those sites are powered by iPoll. If those others sites do not pay and will disable your account without paying for the work you did, then it is safe to say that this site is going to do the same. Do not waste your time. Don't register an account, and if you did close it out because they are going to take your money and disable you.

  • WatchandTell.tv

They used to be a paying site, but recently, things have turned for the worst. When you request pay out, not only will they not pay you, but they will disable your account so you won't be able to take any more surveys.

This happened with a similar survey panel called Only Cash Surveys. They are all part of the iPoll group. If they have a similar layout to the iPoll layout, then avoid. They do not pay at all. They just take your money and run. Avoid.
