Horrible....bureaucratic idiots
Zazzle refused to print a poster for me because the poster contained the picture of a sign of Mt. Bachelor and they said I had to get a release from the resort???? This poster was for may daughter commemorating her participation in the Junior Olympics held at Mt. Bachelor. Basically, they refuse to print any image that has a copy righted logo. They claim it is copy right law....so I guess every private use photo that has any logo or image that is copy righted must have a release before they print it...they need to get real. Don't waste your time with these folks

Jennifer J. Zazzle may seem to take copyright law to the extreme, but they are a big company and face a lot of liability from all their shop keepers and customers. If they weren't so strict, they would be out of business due to lawsuits. They are simply following the law - it has nothing to do with them being "bureaucratic idiots". Even if you had went to Fedex Kinkos or Staples, you would not have been able to print the image.
Mike C. I actually disagree....I found a very reputable service that printed the poster with the very same logo in the very same picture that Zazzle rejected. You see while there are laws about copyright infringement, the law is applied with the reasonable person test. The reproduction of the image was for personal use not for commercial purposes. What ever happened to "common sense"?
saintwear d. Common sense doesn't live at zazzle. I don't think they care much about stepping on the rights of individuals intellectual personal or commercial property, as i know for a fact they allow their customers to sell products at zazzle under company names that don't belong to them. I've written zazzle without getting any response. The posers there actually use our domain name and tagline, but changed the look of our logo. Guess they feel that it is ok to steal a brand name as long as you change the look of the logo. If that were ok, millions of people would have already redesigned the NIKE logo and would be doing business as NIKE. Appears that zazzle makes calculated decisions in regards to infringement. Further investigation is warranted. Common sense says yes, it's ok to reproduce the work as long as you're not going to resell it and profit. Maintaining the guidelines set forth previously in color, quality, etc. When you profit from the reproduction is where the law steps in, and that's what zazzle is allowing their customers to do. Zazzle should practice what they preach!
Neva W. I have had the same problem, found other companies using my name, then the other company said at the bottom sponsored by zazzle. Ive tried three times for artpro, with no repsonse, I have won ribbons. The customer service plays dumb. and are very vauge. I went into my zazzle website from the internet and was nothing like the store I set up when I was in zazzle. N Wilson
jo m. the customer 'support' is a joke. they're extremely rude and act as though they are above everyone.
