So I admit that I think the person I was sending the money to was a scammer (she was supposed to get me a deal on plane tickets through Trip Advisor and I found her through Upwork) but why close my account?

So the person getting scammed is responsible for the scammers?

They REFUSED to give me a reason citing their privacy & protection. EVERY company who doesn't care about their customers says that.

Then they tied up the funds on my credit card because the transaction had been initially approved.

This is my 4th call & I STILL can't get the money returned to my credit card. Yesterday I heard that whoever processed the refund didn't do it properly.

All you get are people who don't understand English and it takes forever for them to think, speak and all they do is make mistakes.

Now I'm waiting for a manager to call me AGAIN.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use it.

I ONLY use the word scammer when it's 100% true. I don't just throw that word around like so many do online.

I learned a while ago that a lot of overseas companies scam people by putting other logo designers' work on THEIR site or profile. I've had this issue even on Upwork.

Then people hire them thinking they do GREAT work & they do TERRIBLE work.

This is what happened here & I feel foolish that I didn't research them online first.

The logos were terrible, but the logos on their site were top notch.

I even sent them screenshots of the work I liked of theirs, but of course, this was before I knew they were scammers.

I mistakenly used Pay Pal to pay thinking Pay Pal would back me if there was a problem, but Pay Pal DIDN'T, they sided with these scammers as they so often do, & I lost my money.

Even when I tried to call Pay Pal's dispute department they wouldn't return my calls (twice) & they kept me on hold anywhere from 1 1/4-4 hours before I finally hung up waiting for a manager.

This is of course with their Filipino call center.

These logo scammers also threatened me & continued to send me logos claiming that each time they sent me an e-mail money was deducted from my balance.

I told them right away after receiving the first 3 terrible logos to just refund me.

They didn't listen to a THING I said in their questionnaire.

I said I don't want red/white/blue & they sent me red/white/blue.

I said I don't want soft colors, later on they sent me more logos with soft colors.

They just used clip art with terrible fonts that look like a teenager designed it.

They refused to refund me, then harassed me through e-mails over & over again & wouldn't stop harassing me.

And yes, also threatened me with sending a collection agency after me saying I was the scammer taking advantage of them.

Oh, & YES, they do have several different domain names. Here are just some of them...

So I haven't used Uber yet, but finally Las Vegas is allowing Uber & Lyft to come here (the taxis have blocked it for years) & so I went to their site to contact them to find out when they are coming here.

I was shocked (thought maybe I was blind) that I couldn't find their contact page.

Sure enough, THERE IS NONE!

What kind of company has no way to contact them?

Then I went onto their LinkedIn page to voice my disdain & they DELETED MY POST!

If this is how they treat customers, I hope someone brings them down.

No one online should get away with hiding behind a website, NO ONE. Especially not a company that draws such attention.

What does Uber have to hide?

05-11-20 - I just found out that they are owned by google. No wonder.

01-22-23 - Wow, I forgot I wrote a review up about toxic Uber so many years ago. I moved outside the US, so have been using them off & on.

First they stopped letting me use my US credit card even though it IS an American company, their Uber Eats app has glitches which cost me food & money & then the last time I used them for a pizza, the driver never came to the door & so I was forced to "try" and deal with their customer service.

THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can't get a phone number where I can speak to a human being.

Everyone here either refuses to speak to me in English, says they can't understand me, refuses to remove the charge from my account, sends out the same generic message over & over & over again, AND refuses to let me speak to a manager. I've tried almost 10 times (me & others) to get this resolved and we can't.

I've checked on other review sites & it's clear now that Uber is a scam company.

They have charged many customers fees they never agreed to (on the Uber side) & they refuse to refund them.

They are a monopoly forcing us to use them because most of us don't have another choice.

Things will only get worse.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use them if you can help it. And someone else with strength should try & start a competitor. Lyft I haven't used yet. I hope they are better.

Linkshare is TERRIBLE.

I guess they are owned by an East Indian company because I can NEVER get anyone in the US to answer the phone & the first time I called she couldn't even hear me & I had to waste time calling back again.

Today this girl Sumaiya lied to me & told me there is no manager around. How can there be NO manager around during the day? It's 12 pm PST.

She said he's not in the office, try to call back. I said what is his name. She refused to give that to me because I guess he works for the President & it's top secret information.

Then when I started to get upset because it was clear she was lying to me & just didn't want to let me speak to a manager, she said give me your number & MAYBE he will call you back tomorrow.

So not only am I STILL not getting paid for September's sales & it's already the end of October, I can't get the manager on the phone.
