Love this company, they offer some fantastic supplement deals that NO other retailer can even get close to matching!

Positives:
> Massive range, you name it, they got it!
> Great deals - ALL the same (Buy-1-get-1-free, 10% off etc)
> Free gift when you spend over $75
> Fantastic customer service, including a live chat service
> Fast handling service, so your item is in the post much quicker.

Negatives:
> Postage to Australia (where I am based) is very expensive, I feel as though I am heavily ripped off - despite this, they STILL end up being cheaper than purchasing from Australia.
> They restrict a lot of items from being sent, they state this is due to customs/border protection, but my own research has shown me that a lot of these items are fine to bring into Australia.

My recommendation for you Aussies is to use a service called Borderlinx to handle your shipping for items that BB.com can't/won't ship to Aus. Pretty much, you ship your item to an "address" in the US (Borderlinx provided this - free of charge), and then Borderlinx repack and then ship the item to you (for a competitive fee). This way you can import your supplements/protein! So far nothing has been rejected by customs!

STAY AWAY!

This company takes no accountability for the dodgy merchants it signs up for it's deals! Although the deals look great (and I will admit, some actually are great), they are usually start up companies, or companies struggling to make money (usually for a reason - they suck).

To give my own personal experience:
Purchased a voucher for a canvas print, claimed and ordered the item, after 2 months the item never showed. Couldn't get a response from the third party merchant, so went back to LivingSocial for advice. Instead of providing me a contact phone number, LivingSocial gave me the merchants Australian Business Number (ABN), which clearly they got from the website (it was the only number listed on the website).

LivingSocial failed to take any accountability for their dodgy merchant and told me that "as they had provided the voucher, they had fulfilled their part of the sale agreement". Visa disagreed and issued a reversal on LivingSocial so that I was able to receive a full refund.

Interestingly, almost a week after I received the chargeback, LivingSocial managed to "solve the issue" with the merchant and re-credited me also, DESPITE being told by me that I had solved the issue via my card issuer.

So now I'm left to deal with following up on my card holder dispute to give back the duplicated refund!

Overall, livingsocial are crap! Crap deals and even worse service! Just don't even bother, these reviews should be enough to show you WHY to avoid them!

FANTASTIC!

The good:
> Great range with fantastic pricing
> Extremely fast postage from the UK
> Regular sales to save you even more $$
> Own 'home' brand which is great quality and decently priced
> FREE postage - did I mention FREE postage
> Accepts returns, although you have to pay return postage (around $7-$10)

The bad:
> Doesn't exchange on returns, only refunds - but with free shipping, why not order it again?
> Charges in GBP, meaning that you might be slugged with a foreign conversion fee by your card issuer

The good:

> SO many deals, uploaded daily at 5.30am
> Fair priced shipping
> Great prices
> Multiple payment options, taken in AUD (avoids the pesky conversion fees)

The bad:
> Slow shipping
> Poor parcel tracking (it lags a few days)
> Most items are dispatched weeks after the order has been placed (check the fine print)
> When you question delayed/missing parcels, they just fob you off with a $10 store credit and a typical generic response
> The "savings" are overstated, with RRP prices often overstated to give the impression of a good deal.

Overall it's a great app with so many deals, I'll keep using them, but will take extra precaution to ensure I read the fine print.
