Recently I ordered dog food instead of cat food. When I inquired, they checked my order and found that the mistake was mine. They offered to let me give the dog food to a neighbor and allowed me to order the cat food with free shipping. My experience with them has been consistently positive for over a year. They are now my go-to supplier for my cats.

After numerous ignored e-mails to Customer Service about an undelivered product, PayPal intervened and got my money back. I had ordered one of their "deals" which, as I later discovered, was not a deal at all, but the usual "discounted" price available elsewhere. The only (very late) reply I got indicated that the "usual" shipping time for the item I ordered was 3-4 weeks. This was not indicated in the ordering process. After waiting for 5 weeks for a shipping notice, and after several more inquiries, I asked PayPal for help--and got my money back. StackSocial should be called StackScammers.

MUO's tech info is often useful, but beware of their "deals." After a particularly bad experience with one of thie vendors, I started looking them up on Better Business Bureau and similar sites. Every one I looked at was rated "F" or, if unrated, had numerous unresolved complaints. MUO claims they "curate" their merchants and they can be trusted. That is either deliberately misleading or a fabrication. They also promote questionable software and services that pay them for the promo, so read carefully any disclaimer they post about an entry. Finally, they don't respond to emails asking for help or questioning their practices. As another reviewer noted, they seem quite arrogant. I will continue to appreciate their guides, but carefully. They are simply untrustworthy in too many areas.
