It's rigged like a scam. The real winners are the site owners. "Discounted" price is 20-50% higher than a going street price. No real auction works the way this one setup (read: rigged): you are charged for your bids. As a result, the price of the item you are bidding on has nothing to do with the item but with the revenue stream for the owners because if you don't win a bid, you lose all the money spent on the abstract bids.
