While you may not want to invade your child's privacy, if you do not do this and something bad happens to your child then you will always regret it. I saw on TV how many parents who were victims of online predators wished they had watched their child more closely. I signed up for this service and feel better knowing I have done everything I can to protect my child. When we were young it was watching out at playgrounds for our children getting abducted, now it is just as important to keep them safe online.

My mother used to subscribe to Family Circle when I was a kid. I always felt like it was boring grown-up stuff until I became a mother myself. Now I trust it and read it faithfully online at Parents.com. It's a must read for every new mother.

I know Disney bought this site (I feel like Disney is a little too commercial these days) but my kids just love Club Penguin. I feel safe letting them play with it.

Salese for dry mouth is the best I've seen - I've been taking several antihistamines for years now that have left my mouth exceedingly dry to the point where sometimes sleeping is difficult, and I have to always carry a bottle of water around. On top of that, my mouth is always inflamed and rarely feels comfortable. My dentist (whom I adore!) recommended a new product called Salese to me. Salese is a soft lozenge, which seemed a little weird at first, but once I got used to it, I fell in love with it. It lasts for a couple hours and made my mouth feel so much better. It helped the dry feeling go away and it made my mouth feel less inflamed. I've used mouthwash and mints and toothpaste and all that in the past, but they've all only helped slightly. Salese is the best I've seen and I'm so happy I've found it and I hope it can help other people too: Salese for Dry Mouth website

The best community for mothers! - I have two young children (2 and 5) and was looking all over for a nice online community to meet other mothers. One of my children has special needs, and the other one is picking up some bad habits in Kindergarden, so I was hoping to meet other mothers in the same situation to gain some new perspectives. I tried cafemom.com but I didn't like their community. But a friend invited me to ciricleofmoms.com from Facebook so I gave it a try. Their community was very warm and welcoming, and I found some other mothers with children with similar issues. I'm still trying out some of the features but so far I love it!

Dove bar soap is a rip off - I grew up using Ivory bar soap. Nothing fancy, but it worked and I liked it. Sometime during college everyone started using Dove, so I figured I would give it a try (my friends and the ads told me it wouldn't dry out my skin as much as Ivory). So since then, for the last 15 years, I have been using Dove even though it's more expensive. Nothing spectacular, but no real complaints. My skin was fine, but I kept using Dove out of habit more than anything else.

But last week Ivory was on sale, making it about half the cost of Dove per ounce. I couldn't resist so I tried it. Not only was the Ivory cheaper I discovered that each bar of Ivory last more than twice as long as each bar of Dove! I have no doubt Dove this on purpose to make its customers spend more money on soap. Moreover, I did not find Ivory to be any more drying than Dove.

My conclusion: Dove is trying to pull a fast one over its customers. It prices it as a "luxury" "moisturizing" soap, but in reality it is very similar to other soaps and doesn't last nearly as long. I don't want to calculate the hundreds or perhaps thousands of dollars I have wasted on Dove over the years. I'm back to Ivory and very pleased
