I was surprised to see that I had a hundred dollar charge to my account three months after my order. I wasn't even aware of the VIP Member ship or the fact that it charges you EACH MONTH. I went back and researched the VIP membership and found that it is offered at checkout as either a one time payment or a pay as you go. I'm definite that I selected the one time payment! Couldn't even get through to the number they listed even though I spent 30 min on hold. All I want to do is cancel my account and never deal with them again!

It is certainly not our intention to frustrate shoppers! Investigating the issue, we see that you used a VIP Member's welcome discount with your first purchase.
As you noted, the VIP Membership is one of two payment options you select during checkout with your first order. It is an active but flexible membership, meaning that you are not obligated to make a purchase each month, but that between the first and fifth of each month our VIP Members visit the site and either make a purchase or skip the month. It's a button in your showroom, and you may skip as many months as you'd like.
Also noted, if you do not skip or make a purchase between the first and the fifth, you'll see a $39.95 charge on the card, and this amount with turn to store credit available for use at any time. The terms and conditions of membership are stated twice during checkout, once more in the membership confirmation email, in the two reminder emails before the fifth and in numerous locations on the site.
