A few years ago I was searching around for a gift to send to a friend. My friend is always reading labels when buying things at the store. He is always buying things with little to no sugar and loves health foods. As we all love fruit I happened onto this site and sent him a beautiful fruit arrangement. Every year at BJ wholesale warehouse I used to buy this fudge from a little stand that they had in the store at Easter. For the last 2 years BJ's has not had them there. They are trying to get them back because so many members miss there presence. I have had to order from the site. Its nice also, but it was more convenient when I could just go to BJ's. My favorite fudge is the french vanilla and strawberry cheesecake. I have bought this fudge and frozen it until I wanted to use it. I would slice off a piece and freeze the rest. I also would wrap it in clear wrap to keep what I was eating fresh. Because I like to slice off little pieces at a time this keeps it from drying out. I just recently won an auction for a vintage Paul Revere whistling tea pot. It was a 6 cup size pot that was so cute. On both sides of the pot it had the Paul Revere signature. The bottom of the pot said 1801 made in Korea with the stamp of Paul Revers head on it. The bottom of the pot was made of chrome and copper clad bottom. This tea pot was so cute. The seller was so kind and sent all details about the pot. When it arrived it was almost in mint condition. There was just a small scratch on the top by the spout. The little tea pot is really cool. Things like this are only found on ebay. I lucked out getting such a nice item. They still have a few left but some are not in quite the same condition of the pot I won. I hope anyone who might want something vintage looks at ebay to find it. I will always love ebay

I have used this site and got some hits on address and contact numbers for sites that where not available on the webs sites I was visiting. Because I shop a lot online. I use this site to see if there is a contact number to get in touch with a representative just in case. I feel better knowing I can call someone if something goes bad before sending money to and untouchable entity. I found this site to be some helpful. It does not have numbers and addresses for all sites. On the other hand has given me more than the web. I do hope this helps others to do there homework before getting stuck. I think it is the consumers choice on whether to take the time to try and protect there self before getting ripped off buy a seller who does not provide contact information. I found this site while searching for a pair of earrings that I saw on a former site called Etsy.com. They where much nicer that Etsy's site had to offer. They where the same type but made much nicer and consisted of real sterling silver. When I originally questioned Etsy about there earrings they advised me that they where not silver and they would not back replacements if the earrings they made where damaged during shipment. I they found Sherry Truitt Studios. I sent her and e-mail and explained to her that I was trying to get a pair of Poland map earrings in sterling silver that where really nice, because they where for one of my best friends. I also told her that I visited Etsy.com and that they would not take them back if they got damaged. After sending the e-mail to Sherry Truitt Studios she e-mailed me back in such a short time. She advised me that She could make the earrings I wanted and that she would back her order. She advised me that if anything happened to them in shipping she would replace them and make sure that I received a new pair. She also told me that if for any reason I did not like them she would refund my money. So I asked her how long it would take to make them and she replied saying about 10 days. Also that she would send me a tracking number and would let me know when she received my payment and everything. I asked her how I could order them because here site did not show the actual Poland map earrings. She e-mailed me back and said even though I could not click on this county to show her what I wanted to order. She advised me to just paste the e-mail with my order so she would remember what ones I needed her to make. She told me that she only displays the most widely sold countries. Although I could not see what the map earrings would look like she described them to me. She said because the piece of the map she would be using to create them with the word Poland my be a little smaller than some of the other map earrings. I told her that I am sure they will be beautiful anyway. I then sent my payment to her. She e-mailed me back right away and told me she would start making them that same afternoon. I was so excited. I just knew while conversing with this lady she was so nice and professional that I was lucky to have found such a wonderful vendor. After 9 days I e-mailed her again and asked her how they where coming along. I told her that was hoping to get them in time for my friend birthday. She e-mailed me right back. This is her actual e-mail. Not a problem, they are coming along beautifully. They will actually be finished later today and then finish curing over the weekend. I reviewed this site because I was searching for something nice for a special friends birthday. Because she likes simple things I wanted to get her a pair of earrings that where different but just very simple. Since she is Polish I found a pair of Poland map earrings that where very unique. They where round and hanging off of what I thought where silver wires. When I inquired about them on the site I received an e-mail saying that they where not sterling silver. I also noticed while reading the order and shipping agreement. That Etsy would not be responsible for any damage during shipping. Also they would not replace or take them back. I could not believe that they expect a customer to take a chance like that. I think that this is not the way to sell merchandise if you can't back the order. I have been receiving e-mails from this site. At first I really did not think to much about it. Then they started coming about 3 or 4 per week. This has become annoying that Bethea keeps sending these e-mails that just get worse and worse. I never responded now I have some voodoo hex or curse I guess? For many years I have been wearing slouch socks. I like them because they feel really nice and are very warm. In the past I was buying them from JC Penny. They use to carry a brand called St. John's Bay. I bought the 3pk for $12.00. Then after several years they stopped carrying them. Well this is my luck, it seems like every time I find something I like it gets discontinued. So I was on a sock mission to find slouch socks that where really nice and long enough to slouch down nicely. I purchased 3 pairs from Sears that wound up being lousy. They where really short and thin. I tried looking in Walmart and Target, but still no luck. I began looking online at e-bay for the St John's Bay and some other sites that say they carry them but did not. I accidentally found this site. I ordered 3 pairs of slouch socks in white. They cost me $22.00 with shipping which is higher than what I paided for the St John's Bay brand. To my surprise they are much nicer than St. John's Bay. After wearing St. John's Bay for awhile they would stretch out at the top. They did not last very long before doing this. I guess that's why they only cost $12.00. Back in 2007 I received a phone call from HSBC one night. Since I was currently out of work because of a terminal illness. I was trying very hard to pay of some of my debts. Before becoming ill I had a great job and was able to use credit cards. I only had one at the time it was Capital One. When I first signed up for this card I purchased the insurance protection just in case I ever became ill that they would make payments for me. Well little to say they only paid $19.00 per month toward there card. I was upset because if you can't make full payments on a card the interest falls into the highest 24% bracket. Well we all know you can never pay this off. Since I really wanted this credit card paid off but had no way to pay it at the time. I just allowed the card company to keep paying this $19.00 per month. Well back to the phone call that I received from HSBC. I received a call from a representative that offered me a way out. He told me that if I decided to go with HSBC that they could do a balance transfer to Capital One and pay them off. Also he told me that I would have 0% interest for 12 months. I told the representative that I may do this but I needed to also get new tires for my truck and wanted to have left over credit on the card to buy them. I asked him what was the limit he could offer me? He said he could get me a $5000.00 limit. Since I needed to pay $1500.00 to Capital One this would leave me $3500.00 left over so I could buy tires and still have some credit for other things. Also I would have 12 full months to pay them back with no interest. I asked the representative over and over again if he was sure that the limit would be $5000.00. He told me not to worry and he was absolutely positive that I would have this limit on the new card. I explained to him that I was skeptical because I have dealt with many other card companies in the past and sometimes they do not keep there end of the bargain. I advised him that I was a bill collector and know how it works. He told me to hold one and he would make sure that I was approved before I agree. He then placed me on a brief hold and when he came back he again said I was approved. I told him that if everything did not go as he said that I would be very upset. When the representative first called he said he was from Discover. I went ahead and told him to go ahead and do the balance transfer to Capital One and gave him all there information. He advised me that I would have my new card in 5-7 business days. One week later I received a letter and the card in the mail. I will never forget how mad I was when I opened the letter up. The letter stated that I only had a credit limit of $2000.00. Also the card was not a true Discover card it was from the Discover Network. So if a balance transfer for $1500.00 was to go to Capital One this would only leave $500,00 left. This was not even enough to buy new tires for my truck. I was so mad I called them up and got a supervisor on the line and told him how his representative lied to me and tricked me into taking out a card that he promised would have a $5000.00 limit on it. I explained to him the reason and what I needed it for. Well the supervisor told me that there was nothing he could do. H advised me that the balance transfer to Capital One had been made and that at least I did not have to worry about that card anymore. I told him that I really did not care because I did appreciate being lied to and felt that it was deceitful entrapment in order to get me to go with them, regardless of them paying off the other card. I advised him that this kind of sales marketing was against the law and that he should listen to the call that was made to me by his representative promising me of a $ 5000.00 credit limit. Well he still blew me off and I hung up on him. I then began to think of a way to fix these jerks and thought to myself two can play this game. Since I just went out of work the year before I still had an ace in the whole. I had one more income tax return. I went and got my return done and when I received it. I decided to pay the whole $1500.00 back to the HSBC bank before my 12 month 0% time frame. This way I could kill two birds with one stone. Also they could not charge me a dime in interest. This is exactly what I did. I first called them to get an exact payoff good through the entire month and then sent them a check in the amount of $1529.00 to make sure it was $1.00 over. They way they would have to send me back a check for $1.00. Then after I received proof that they where paid off. I called them again and advised them I was cutting up there card as we speak. After that I wrote there corporate office a letter explaining every thing that took place. I advised them that if I wanted to be a real B, that I could file a complaint with the BBB and let them know about the entrapment. I then faxed the letter to them and waited for them to respond. They wrote me back letter saying that the next time I wanted to pay off another card company that I should go to a bank and apply for a loan. I laughed my butt off. I thought to myself how does it feel HSBC for someone to use you? To this day I have no credit cards. I believe in cash on the barrel. I would rather save for something than give my money to rip off card companies. I hope this review helps other not to get roped into maybe many years of grief. www.hsbc.com

For many years I have purchased Liz Arden products. I loved her mouse makeup and have continued to use it to this day. I also like some of her fragrances. Red Door and 5th Avenue. When I use a capsule I would not use the whole thing I would wrap it in piece of paper towel and use the rest the next day. Because they are expensive I used them most at night when going out. I would apply them about 30 minutes before putting makeup. This allows them to absorb nicely into you skin, so you are sure to get the full benefit of looking radiant. The moisturizer in theses capsules you can really feel working after you apply them. I can't really describe it. You will just have to try it. After using them for just a few days I notice a change in firmness in my skin. When I use the eye capsules I notice the puffiness under my eyes go away. I have been reviewing this site for about 1 month now. I have tried several recipes and they have all turned out good. The first recipe I tried was the corn fritters. Since I always seem to have left over corn I don't want to waste this is a good way to enjoy it again. I like the site because if you want a particular recipe you can request it. If it is not on the site. You can click the link, looking for request. I also liked the fast apple dumpling recipe. Since I have a sweet tooth I like making deserts from scratch. This site shows you how to use things you have around to create nice meals that are inexpensive. I have been on many recipe sites, but is is one of my favorites. I think that good cooking does not have to be expensive to really come up with good menu ideas. The site also gives you weekly menu ideas that are easy and quick to prepare. I have tried several of the dishes and they have all been worth making. The site has a lot of different categories that have been helpful to me. I also really enjoyed the breakfast pizza a lot. For many years I have tried many anti-virus software products. McAfee, Microsoft, Avg, Cyber defender and a few others. I recently bought Norton 360. Norton has really protected my computer all around. I love the set up. It is very easy to navigate and gets gives very thorough scans. It goes through every file and then tells of all threats. After the scan is complete you just click to fix any threats and Norton repairs all of them. There is total protection for your PC. They offer everything on the 360 version to make sure you are notified right away about anything that happens while using your PC. Stops viruses, spyware, and other threats before they can do damage. PC Security, Convenience, Ease-of-Use, Identity Protection, Backup and Restore, Parental Controls Management, PC Tuneup and support. I purchased the 360 version because they offer everything. Because I have had a few viruses in the past I am trying to never allow this to happen again. The full scan runs over an hour. So far Norton has detected every risk high or low and repairs them easily. I feel that I have not wasted a dime for this software. I hope this review helps others who may not be sure what protection to go with. I don't recommend Micro-soft security essentials at all. I received a virus while using there service. I am not saying that AVG is not good. I have used them also and like them a lot to. But for now I am going to keep Norton 360 for 1 year and see if they continue to secure my PC. www.norton.com

Years ago I moved into a new home. I was looking for nice furniture that I could afford while making house payments. I looked in many furniture stores for something unique and different. I did not have much luck since I was looking for something that would be durable but with darker colors. One day I was going to a dry cleaner and next store was a Rent A Center. I decided to just take a stroll and see what they had. Since I have never rented to own furniture I was a little skeptical. After going in I was surprised to find something I really liked. I found a black sofa , chair and love seat that had such a pretty pattern. It was like sprays of paint in multi colors. The set also had these really cool glass tables with stone bases. I also loved the lamps that where black poles that went up and over the sofa with 5 globe bulbs that fanned out over the furniture. This set was very different and was really neat. I talked it over with my boyfriend because I was not real keen on the idea of paying interest to rent to own. We both decided to do the transaction because I really wanted the set. Well let me say that I was happy at first until the sofa that I was paying so much for was starting to sag. I had the set for less than 1 year and the cushions where so messed up it was like sitting on a marshmallow. I had to keep turning them over to try and make the sagging not appear so much. I also was sorry I bought the tables because they never stayed clean. I had to dust them everyday. I did like them but they where a pain. I called the store and told them about the furniture falling apart. They did nothing and I was bound to a contract. Either make the payments or the furniture gets taken. Since I was so upset I went to the store to talk to manager there and advised him of what was going on. He never did anything to fix replace or repair the flabby furniture. I wound up paying it off. and then giving it away. I will never buy anything from these scam artist again. In the end I wound up paying almost double for furniture only because I liked the look. Well looks can be very deceiving. Remember this my friends. The sweetest candy can be rotten on the inside. These types of company's prey on people who can't afford to buy lavish furniture promising to back there products. What a big joke. I like the design of the furniture but if I knew it was put together with elmer's glue and cotton balls, I would have made it myself. Years ago there where several Montgomery Ward stores in Maryland. The major store was on Washington Blvd. The other was in Golden Ring Mall. Because of the huge shop lifting epidemic that took place the stores where forced into bankruptcy. The Washington store went first. The the whole mall was taken down. I loved this store because you could find something for everyone. It made Christmas shopping so easy. They also had a catalog that you could order from right at the store. If there was something they no longer had or where out of you could still get it. For instance people who wear wide shoes like a triple E could order the shoes they like in the store in this wide size from the catalog. Montgomery wards has so many different things. If I still had my little dog I would surely get him this water bowl that looks like a toilet. Check it out in the pet section, hysterical. Montgomery Ward is unique because they carry such a wide variety of almost everything. I have never had any problems with orders or returns. I really like the conversation vine rack. About 3 weeks ago my girlfriend and I decided to try the Acai Berry diet and colon cleanse. We both have been using it for 3 weeks. I started with my weight at 120.6 and today I weighed myself and weigh 121.7 I have gained not lost. I reviewed the different sites and after reading most of them. They advise that this product mostly works with exercise. I have found that this product to be a scam. Most of the sites that sell this product don't tell you that they cut the acai berry powder inside the pills with fillers so you are not going to get the full effect of the 100% acai berry. I have tried different weight loss products in the past and this has about the same effect as the others. Did not work for me. I am also worried that they will keep charging the credit card for this product and not cancel the order. My girlfriend used her card and I paid her cash for my share. I have stopped the product and now am giving it back to her to send back. I think as for as I am concerned I will stick with skipping rope and watching what I eat. I love a good pretzel. Auntie Anne's has the best. My favorite is the cinnamon pretzel. I also love the sour cream & onion. I have tried almost all of them. It is very hard to have a favorite one because they are all so good. They are soft and delicious. I love the dips they have to go with them as well. I can't help myself every time I go to the mall. I have to get one. For anyone who loves pretzel's this is a must. Sometimes when I get in line I stand there and can't make up my mind. The people behind me get mad because I keep changing my mind. They are all so mouth watering. I by boxes of them and bring them home. Because they are best when warmed up. I take a paper towel wet it and then ring it out real good. Then I wrap it around the pretzel and put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. It makes it warm all over again without making it rubbery. Annie's pretzels are a true delight, something simple that taste so good. They have come out with new flavors that top each other. One of the neatest things I have ever had is there great pretzel dog. It's a warm pretzel that is handmade and wrapped around a hot dog then cooked to perfection. It is way better than a bun. Last year I wanted to get a pair of the Ugg cargo boots I love this boot because it had a side pouch to put things in. These boots are very nice I placed the order at the end of last winter. I kept going back to the site everyday. The topics are really cool. There is list of hacker prevention methods I that are very helpful. When you go to the site type in the search engine, stop hackers. The site also shows you how to remove viruses and trojan horses. It also has other links, food, home, style, money and health topics. Before Christmas on Dec 3rd I called Figis to ask questions before placing an order. I wanted to make sure that they could send the items I order before Christmas. I also wanted to make sure that they could deliver the items to businesses. Because 2 packages needed to go to 2 different businesses I was concerned about the delivery dates because these people where not going to be available after the 20th of Dec. I called everyone I wanted to send something to without them knowing what I was trying to do. Because these people are very special I wanted to do something nice that there whole family could enjoy. After getting the go a head from them that they all would be home or in there office on the 20th. I called to place the order on Dec 6th. I spoke to a rep who seemed to be very nice and knowledgeable in taking these orders. I explained to her how important it was to have these items delivered on the 20th. She told me no problem at all. I ordered 8 boxes of petite fours. I told her that 1 box needed to be sent after the New Year because the recipient would not be back from vacation until then. She advised me again no problem. I told her that 2 of these boxes where to be deliver to my home address for my family. Because they charge $25.00 for shipping plus and extra $2.50 per mailing address I was trying to save a little by having 2 sent to my home and I would give the box to my niece and her husband when they came over Christmas. I then gave her all the other names, addresses and zip codes for all the other deliveries. She advise me that they would be sent via UPS. Then she told me that I was all set. I then made payment in full. The total came to $113.00 total. After a few days I checked my account to see if the funds had been taken. They where not. I called Figis to ask why the money had not been taken and explained that I wanted to be deducted right away. The rep told me that the money would be taken when the order was processed. On the 16th I went out to take care of some things and when I returned there was a Figis box thrown on the front porch. I was so upset that my family saw the box. I called Figis and got a rep on the line I asked her what was going on? I asked her why was this box sent on the 16th instead of the 20th like I ordered? She told me that it takes time to get these items out before Christmas. I told her that this in crazy. I said I don't want these people to get there gift 9 days before Christmas and that these are perishable items if left out they will spoil. She said they will stay good for 9 days. I said the need to be refrigerated and the box does not even say that. I told her I could care a less these are not supposed to be delivered before the 20th that what they promised me. I told her if I knew this was going to happen I would have use Swiss Colony like the year before that they where great. I asked her about the items that went to the businesses and how did I know if anyone would even be there to get them? I asked her if they had been sent yet? She told me that they where to be sent on the 18th. I asked her but what if there is no one there to get them that these are businesses. I advised her that this is why I made sure I had a good date for everyone before placing the order. She apologized to me for the inconvenience. I told her I don't care this is so messed up that now if have to call these people and spoil the surprise. I explained to her that this is unacceptable customer service and that has really ruined my Christmas. I asked here what this was going to be like to have to call everyone and ask them if the will be there to get a gift that Figis sent early so it does not spoil. I asked her if she would want to buy a gift and have to call and tell people it was coming early? Then say your sorry, but the company messed up? I asked to speak to a supervisor to try and see if they could straight this mess out. When the supervisor got on the line I told him everything that was promised to me and that the whole order was fouled up. He said he was sorry for this and credited me back $25.00. I said well that is nice but it still does not mean that the people will even get the gifts at the 2 businesses. I told him that I was very upset. I asked him why don't the reps who take these orders just tell the customers they can't guaranty when the gifts will arrive. I asked him what was the point of me giving a date to the rep when I needed them to be delivered? He then said he was sorry again. After I got off the call I tried to call to see if the people at the businesses would be there on the 18th. But did not get through. On the 18th I called the businesses and asked if they received them? They both told me no. I called Figis again and spoke to a rep who told me that they where delivered. I told her that I just go off the phone with the people they where supposed to go to and they never got them. She placed me on hold. When she came back she told me that someone signed for them at both locations and gave me the names of the people who signed for the from UPS. I thought I was going to loose my mind because they gave them to people I did not even know. I asked the rep what if they keep them. How are you going to get these gifts back?Now my friends get nothing after I paid for it. I asked her if she was crazy? I said do you mean I paid for gifts that went to total strangers? I then hung up and called the businesses and told my friends that the gift was given by UPS to someone at the front door and gave them the names hoping they could track them down and recover the item. After a few hours I called them back an luckily they did get them back from the security guards that signed for them. Figis was instructed what floors and offices they where to be delivered to. I guess I can't really blame them this was UPS' s mistake. Even though the other gifts where sent early the people did get them. I called them all and told them how sorry I was and to make sure they went into the refrigerator until Christmas. When my family opened them they where still okay, But the quality of there petite fours are not as good as Swiss Colony's. I used them last year and they where great. After this was all over I received a call back from a supervisor a few days ago asking me if everything was okay I told him that the 2 boxes that where supposed to come to my house that I only received one on the 16th and that had no gift for my niece and her husband. I told him that when I called about that another rep told me that I would have to pay again for something I already paid for. I asked her also if she was crazy and told her I already paid for 8 boxes and only got 7. I told him I spoke to supervisor again about that and he gave me another credit fir $17.00. The supervisor said he would pass this information to his Human resource dept in hopes this does not happen again. I won't order again.
